Meh, truthfully the only part that hurts is the betrayal of trust. And my phobos. Had that phobos for years, always knew I'd lose it, never thought it'd be lost to an awox though. Lesson learned I suppose.

I'll just leave this here, to complete the story.

To: Lycosa Syndicate,

This is a bit of a rant. Deal with it.

I've been somewhat absent the last week due to RL commitments (i.e exams). During this time, I have noticed something that disturbs me greatly. In the 7 days since i last organised a site fleet, there has been 2 nights where any sites at all were ran, for a grand total of only 5 sites total. I haven't been completely absent, and I have noticed that on every night during this week there has been more than 10 sites available. 5 sites out of more than 70 that could have been done.

This means we have left more than 45 Billion ISK just sitting in those sites. That's enough ISK to plex every account in the corp. It appears you people couldn't organise a shag in a brothel.

Syndo and Nox are burned out, Nuvia tried to organise things and was met with apathy and no one else appears to want to do it. Unless I organise sites, they don't happen. With that said, I want to share something Syndo said to me before he recruited me back in August 2012.

"I am not here to create content for you. You will have to be proactive and organise things for yourself to do."
- Syndosis, CEO Lycosa Syndicate, 2012

I also am not here to create content for people. This is something I find myself doing a lot though, simply by being online and organising things for me to do. Interconnector has tried to organise fleets, he spent an entire night online, needing nothing but a Loki pilot to web things for him... and nothing happened. No sites were ran, in spite of several people logging on. Nuvia has tried to organise regular fleets, and no one logged on, despite pinging Line.

The ships that I run sites with are worth about 12 billion ISK to replace, and they are all in site. The ships Interconnector uses are worth about the same. Collectively, we put over 24 billion ISK worth of ships into a site. We run 4 accounts each and we usually cover the roles of first carrier, first dread, webs, boosts, tagging, second carrier and have second wave dreads. We're in charge of rolling holes, setting up and running the fleet, salvaging and usually of taking the loot out and selling it, always within 24 hours of the sites being ran.

Organising a site fleet is not difficult, but it does require a fair amount of work. We're tired of doing all the work to organise and run fleets and getting no more than someone who shows up and presses F1. We're tired of running 4 clients each and getting nothing more than a player who semi-AFKs second carrier and nothing else.

Space communism is over. The people who do the work are going to get paid for it.

Effective immediately, the following changes are going to occur in any fleet I am running:

1. Interconnector and I are taking an extra share or 2 shares if we run more than 10 sites. If the fleet runs 8 sites, I'm getting 8+1 shares and if we run 14 sites, I'm getting 14+2. So is Inter.
2. Legions are not welcome in my fleets. Exceptions will be made for players who have been in the corp for less than 1 month and cannot yet fly a Loki. These players will be allowed to join and given half shares. They will also be expected to have a Loki they can fly within 1 month of joining.
3. ECM ships are not welcome in my fleets. If you aren't in a capital ship or a webbing Loki, you aren't coming into my sites.
4. No more than 2 subcaps. First in, first served. I will sit my Loki pilot if someone else can bring webs.
5. No more than 6 dreadnaughts total. I will sit mine if there are enough people online.

In case anyone thinks I'm being unreasonable or greedy, I will remind you that sites simply don't get ran unless I organise it. The 45 billion ISK we have collectively pissed away in the last week is proof of this. That ISK could be in people's wallets.

To sum up: Inter and I do the work. We have much more ISK on the field at risk. I'm not happy with this. I'm taking a larger share of the cake. If you want to sit at my table, you can have some cake as well, but it will be less than the people who are working to put that cake on the table.

You can see examples of how the loot will be divided in the pay-outs sheet. I have created samples for 8 sites and 12 sites ran. You will see that it isn't an huge difference.

Fixed.

We could have taken half the total isk from sites and ya'll would still net gain compared to when we weren't around.

Dealing with AWOXrs, its like having a good poop in the morning; You take your coffee, your first sigarete of the day and then let it all go down the drain. The start of a bright nice new day has arrived. ShockedBig smile

Giving the wrong people to manny roles can happen. Only with complete paranoid people that wont happen. The only real loss here is trust. Rich in ISK, but soo poor in....

Thanks mate,
We appreciate the Alliance and one day will be up to standard and of use to you all.

We are not blind to our weaknesses, the hard part is finding solutions that work for the larger number.

We look forward to flying with you and the alliance a lot more in the future and appreciate the efforts and support offered.

Dude, do you even know how much effort goes into orchestrating a suitable 1 v Many that will leave you coming out on top? Surely You Don't.

Really, you see someone who is risking a stratios/CS in a solo scenario with apparently no backup running at 30% KB efficiency is obviously both better and ballsier than you and your hand-holding guardian blob. Not to mention the wet pants if your buffer goes down to 30%...

I almost wasn’t going to post this but then decided to, even if for no other reason than to transcribe- for my own personal future reference- the opinions felt at this moment, should time erode the memory. (I will also attempt to keep this brief)

As a new member to Lycosa (just over 2 weeks) I can say that it has been amazing. From doing C6 to C3 sites, to learning how to hunt, tackle and kill targets in the darkest parts of space- it has been an exhilarating ride to finally discover the ‘endgame’ of Eve online. Wormhole space – this is how the game is meant to be played. The people I have met here will remain allies for as long as I play Eve – with two obvious exceptions (and for the record even post-betrayal it has still taken me this long to come to a firm conclusion of where I stand regarding both of you-like I have always said I feel no anger towards either of you, but rater to seek out and understand the motivations of your actions).

Let me start by saying this:
You Paikis (and interconnector) are solely to blame for this theft and destruction. It is you who thought it, planned it, and carried it out. You can say anything you want to try and explain and justify the reasons for your actions- let me tell you this, there are none. Regardless of mistakes were made involving roles and privileges, there is no excuse for the damage you have done. Remember that.

Yes there were problems with the corp, so does every corp. The universe is filled with problems (apparently including your own personal perspectives of right and wrong) – it is how we deal with them that defines us. You could have left peacefully-or even in anger, you could have brought issues out into the open (one email is not enough and if you think it is you are mistaken). If you had issues then you should have acted maturely and faced them head-on, instead you threw a tantrum - like a baby- and you will be remembered as such.

You say there is no animosity, you say you didn’t want to kill the new people, and you say you didn’t lie to us. Let us be clear- you did lie to us. There is no equivocation regarding this. You pretended to be our friends, and then ripped the spinal cords out the back of our skulls- implants and all. Actions speak louder than words. You were not our friends- you planned our deaths.

People say that Eve is a game, and this is true-however this is a much too simple definition (akin to saying that the Mona Lisa is paint). In truth all of life is a ‘game’ to varying degrees. Your actions here speak volumes for your character. Remember that life- just like Eve- is a long journey. May your other games be more successful than here.

You might try to counteract what I have posted here- but you cannot- what is said here is said in truth (regardless of what others reading this may think). I once considered you trusted friends, and had great respect for both of you- that has now been reduced to zero. I would advise that both of you take a long hard internal look at yourselves, your behavior, and your actions and dwell on them for a very, very long time.

To me, theft in my eyes is a pretty poor thing to do, an therefore doing it is pretty poor behaviour.

To then brag about it aferwards is pretty poor behaviour, becuase lets be honest we all put alot of time into this game, and I think that is what you are doing, blowing your e-peen on some forums degrading people who trusted you.

Not a bad corp theft/AWOX--decent writeup, though it could use some Return key love.

Ripping off your partner in crime? Mildly poetic but mostly low rent; gotta draw an arbitrary line somewhere. Interestingly, you didn't feel the need to justify that betrayal, but spent like 5 paragraphs justifying the corp theft.

Cheers to interconnector for not being all butthurt about it (or keeping it to himself at least).
