Best blockade runner for 1 month of training ?

Hi

I want to make a blockade runner for if my main is in a situation where I cannot go and get goods myself, be it being with a corp at war, bad sec status, dangerous areas whatever. I don't want to maintain two subscriptions so would take advantage of dual training.

What would be the best I could do with a months training ?

i don't think one month of training will cut it. anything you may get into in such a short time will die horribly, even in lowsec.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I see there is a summer sale, would you then recommend say a 3 month ($30) subscription and then character transfer after ?
I am looking at when it comes to cost what would be the best option.

The character transfer is another 2 PLEX or 20 bucks, so i wouldn't do that.

Get dual training running, and if necessary, do it for another month.

Any of them can fit a cruiser...

On the subject of dual training however, eve is all about the long game. Man up and just pause training on your main for a little while.

there is hardly any difference between the four blockade runners. pick the one you find prettiest.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Whilst normally I could understand this my character is at a turning point to low/null sec and exploration instead of mission running so I have about 2 months worth of training to a well skilled well fit tengu explorer. My patience isnt that high :)

As others said, 1 month isn't quite enough. But 2 months should be fine.

Thanks guys

Went for the separate account, $10 for a extra month worth of skills and I save $35 if I wish to keep it going indefinitely (As subscription is cheaper than dual running I would transfer it to a separate account)

Who knows, it may end up being a jump freighter pilot.

one month is enough to get a newbie to a t2 covops hauler with cybernetics 1 and remap.

PS there's a price for character transfer - 2 plexes. But i believe you'll find out playing with 2 accounts is better and train normal character on your second account and keep hauler mostly logged off in jita.

Going to Spend 1 Month on electronics and supporting skills then another for ship skills, that gives me a month to mess around aftwards with bits and pieces.

I'd actually suggest going for a Viator since Gallente have most of the specialized T1 haulers as well. (Epithal, Kryos, and Miasmos)

Also while you're training for the Blockade runner, a Nereus is an excellent transport ship.

FTFY.

But yeah, given the choice I'd say Gallente because of their T1 haulers, the freighter option is good (ANP Obelisk) and aside from that the differences are negligible. The cargoholds on the BRs are pretty much all the same (or close enough to not matter), so all's good there.

Listen to this guy.

The only thing you want for stealth hauling are low slots and rig slots. Meds are borderline useless.

Nice fit, personally though I'd swap out the WCS and iStabs and fit PDUs instead. Will add more EHP and should give you enough PG to ditch the ACR thus freeing up a rig slot.

EDIT: Ditching the WCS and iStabs because 3 x Disrupter Moa, which can also lock you anyways before you align out even with iStabs. Also 2 x gankers on gate makes them both moot as well.

Improved cloak
Medium RR shield rep

3 invulns
2 Large extenders

DC
3 x PDS
1 WCS

1 EM rig
2 extender rigs.

Hornets and Light ECM drones. (( Biggest shield pools ))

Everything T2.

60 k health with ability to rep drones until you kill something or use the ECM to bug out.
Hard to gank when in high sec.
All you get is cloak and one WCS to help with avoiding fights in the first place but hey the ship is cheap and can't expect Blockade runner performance.
Force the close fight too.
