Useful killboard??

Is there a kb out that that I can dump my api into and get all my kill data in a useable form?

For example: It would be nice to pick out a player. Pick out a ship type. See what a guy has killed with that ship type.

As much as folks rag on the old griefwatch kb, it's still probably the most functional board out there. Not the prettiest, or flashiest, but functionally it does more than show kills by month.

I haven't found a way to pull any useable data out of Evekill (it may be my fault - please teach me if i'm missing it). It shows kills and you have to (not even an option) see everything month to month.


TL/blah blah - link me a killboard that allows me some different sorting options (kills by ship type, system, solo and so on)

zkill is the closest to what you are looking for, some nice sorting but still needs work.

Don't link me a kb. That's crap and isn't what I asked for. I know how to find zboard and all the others (google for you non internet wizards).



Link me where you sorted your character by [favorite bomber] and got an output of all the kills you have with a bomber so that I can look through it and determine if you have any skill flying a bomber.

Then link me [forite system] and get an ouput of all the kills you have in that system

Then link me a breakdown of all your kills by ship and system and maybe something useful on gang size.

All this data is in every km. Why no one has made a decent kb w/ reasonable funcionality just baffles me.

I've seen production spreadsheets that boggle my little mind. Someone please make something useful.

I can't program, so I (rudely I guess) am asking why something useful hasn't come about in all the years of eve. Like I stated - some of the spreadsheets for t3 production and what not that I have seen just boggle my mind. For me coding a KB would be filed in the 'sorcery' drawer.

It's been how many views on this and yet no one has linked me a sorted kb page. The point is - it just doesn't exist. I just find it odd as kb driven as so many eve players are.... no kb that let's you really play with the data exists. I do like the finger snapping angle though.... I'll give it a try!

You know what, I also want what you ask for. I'd like to use it for tracking kills made from the guys I fly with who are all in like 5 differant allienaces and 16 corps and lump them all into the same killboard.

Still not found out how to do it :(

I'm mad because there aren't any good kb out there for me to use. I DESERVE and AM ENTITLED to have a kb to fit my liking. It's not being given to me fast enough.

I'm sorry if I was dismissive to some guy that linked zkill when it's specifically not what I requested (not rudely I might add) in my OP. You guys should rag on him for being unhelpful or for poorly crafting his response. I'm the victim here, not the bad guy!

usually i use several different killboards to get some results, but all kind of searches are not possible.

i bet main reason why you do not get everything you want is that database is quite big to make search and it would lagg out service and some searches could take lot of time to complete.

I don't think that is so. I can go on battle clinic and search by any name of any eve player ever and pull the data - all the data on that person. All kb have that function. The problem is once I pulll all the data... the kb is done. My options to sort and inspect the data come in 1 or 2 options / kb.

The one I don't get most of all is the evekill fascination with monthly only stats. If you want something that isn't sorted by month - you're doomed.

Here's my 'all time' stats..... viewable ONLY in monthly chunks. It's like the developer finished the monthly view section of the kb and suddenly discovered bacon...... never to be seen again.

You clearly need to acquaint yourself properly with the killboards. Some of what you ask for and say is impossible is easily done.

they went to monthly stats just because of performance issues.

usually people gets mad if response from internet service takes more than 2 seconds and start spamming and cause even more lagg....

so it is about performance as general, free service usually does not have funds to use enough hardware to do great tasks.

I went to https://zkillboard.com/ . I'm not seeing where you go to produce the sorts based on name and system. I'm either missing what to do or is there some menu I don't have access to? I don't mind admitting when I'm being dumb, so if that's it, then show me what to do..... please.

I'm not getting the whole being a **** thing. I'm not calling folks names or insulting anyone. I'm just asking for specific information and not settling for the wrong stuff.

You've linked some of the right stuff from zboard - I'm just not seeing how you do it. If there's some higher level of access to be paid for - let me know.

This thread isn't a lone insane hermit from the mountains. There are other folks out there that have spoken this aloud on various comms over the years. I don't think I'm off base here. The sorting on the kb sux. I get that they are a bunch of free services and all. I'm just surprised after so many years that there isn't something better. As I recall - I've paid isk to register my api to various boards over the years, so free isn't exaclty free, but then again the point of all this is to get someone to unlock a totally awesome kb.

I'll bake someone a blueberry pie if they grant me an awesome kb. I really don't think anyone can be nicer than that.

I just found the search function on zboard. It's the unlabelled white space under the menu. You just type what you want in there.
