Hello everyone,

But my problen is i don't find what fitting will be really good enough for that so i made 3 fitting ( that my first time so please be gentle)

So they all have more or less the same dps (around 748 with garde II and 800 with Geko and m) same speed .....

That why i really don't know what use what in real will be really good and where are my mistakes or misunderstood about this ship.

thankss for your anwers

I use the following to good effect with serps upto 7/10 - dps is the most limiting factor for the later DEDs mostly.

[Ishtar, Active Shield - Serpentis]
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Damage Control II

Pith C-Type Thermic Dissipation Field
Pithum C-Type Medium Shield Booster
Cap Recharger II
Federation Navy 10MN Afterburner
Pith C-Type Thermic Dissipation Field

Anode Ion Particle Cannon I, Antimatter Charge M
Anode Ion Particle Cannon I, Antimatter Charge M
Anode Ion Particle Cannon I, Antimatter Charge M
Anode Ion Particle Cannon I, Antimatter Charge M

Medium Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer II
Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer II

Wasp II x5
Warden II x5
Garde II x5

This turns in approx 900 dps, with an active tank vs serps of around 1000 hps, which is usually a massive overkill.

I tend not to have any issues with range on wardens and have not found a lot of use from omni's on the Ishtar.

Has plenty of grid/cpu left as well to mess about with (mobile depot and MWD/Cloak/probe etc). The thermal rig suffers from quite a bit of stacking as well, but accounts for about 100 hps despite that.

A straight replacement of the hardners to kinetic will make this fine to use right up to 10/10 gurrista as well.

Have fun :)

I use a fit almost identical to hers except its MWD fit and stable, mail me in game and ill send it to you if you want, it cranks about 840 DPS with my skills and can run Mordus sites solo if i kite and land far enough off to avoid those horrible webs. I can imagine DED's will be no issues for it either although i havent personally ever done a DED, i make ISK elsewhere usually and let the corpies run those.

♣ Small Gang PVP, Large Fleet PVP, Black Ops, Incursions, Trade, and Industry ♣ 70% Lethal / 30% Super-Snuggly / 110% No idea what im doing ♣

The guns are pretty situational, but with a MWD, and some heavies, they can help take out the BS down more quickly for a change of pace.

Most often have a cloak and drone range mods in the highs and a civ shooter of some sort.

One major factor in picking a fit for lowsec combat sites is how hard you are to probe down. This is much more true running escalations, but also applies in combat sites as many predators will enter a system, have no idea you are in a combat site and will start probing for you.

Your signature radius, divided by your signal strength is a measure of how hard you are to probe down. Higher is worse.

A lot of shield modules increase sigrad signficantly at all times. In addition, a microwarpdrive increases sigrad but only when turned on. As a consequence, I do not like shield Ishtar fits much, and also will not turn a microwarpdrive on unless there are no combat scanner probes within a 14AU D-scan (unless using the MWD is to save my ship).

For this reason, I personally use active armor fitted Ishtars for any lowsec PVE I find myself doing. I still use a microwarpdrive.

That said, active shield tanks have smaller sigrad penalties than passive, and so can work, and while passive shield tanks make you easier for hostile players to find, that does not stop them working well for many players.

Edit: My generic PVE Ishtar fit for dangerous space, with an alt available for scouting. This can hold its own in PVP too and I am always happy to jump on someone if they don't have allies in local. (You can optionally drop the DCU and a DDA for two specific hardeners but that will not help against player predators).

Highs: T2 railguns (best you can fit).
Mids: Meta 4 scram, 2x meta 4 web, meta MWD, T2 drone precision module (carry both scripts, usually use range)
Lows: Damage Control 2, meta 11 deadspace local repper (can't remember name, but it's 55-60m ISK), 3x DDA 2
Rigs: 1 T2 local rep amount rig, 1 T2 local rep speed rig (nanobot accelerator and aux nano pump IIRC)

Ammo: Spike (medium to long range), Javelin (short to medium), Navy Antimatter (medium range, better tracking), 5 Garde 2, 6 Praetor 2, 5 Warrior 2, fill rest with ECM drones.

If jumped in PVP, GTFO if they appear to have neuts or 90% webs, otherwise if it is 1 or 2 opponents, engage brawler-style. If 3 or more targets, OVERHEAT REPS then use Warrior 2s to kill light tackle then ECM drones to escape heavy tackle. So if you are attacked by a Taranis, a Phobos and an Astarte, you want to try to escape by killing the Taranis with the Warriors to get its scram or long point off you, then jamming the Phobos or try to get out of the range of its infinite point, then flee.

If, on the other hand, a Tengu with Merlin support jumps you, I'd get close, MWD off, scram the Tengu, 2x web the Merlin and set drones on it, then when the Merlin is down, web/web/Praetor the Tengu.

this is strange...

Hostiles come in large groups, usually 1 as a bait, then another 12 jump in all sorts of massive Hitpoints massive DPS battlecruisers.

Gankers bring too many ships, it is always a trap. They also like to sweet talk you into some stupid ****. Like "Hello friend, how are the rats here? Are you doing complexes? Do you think you need help?"

It is a distraction, you may get a dozen hostile targets in system before you can blink if you engage in any conversation.

Then they encourage you to initiate aggression or simply engage in combat, so that you can not run, jump or dock.

Your only chance to escape is to stay aligned at all times, use fast moving ECM drones on any ship that tries to scram you.

Worst case is when they already sleep in the complex, then log on and appear out of nowhere. This is worst kind of trap, there is no escape. Click warp to and pray... also try and fit stabs

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again
