After a brief research on forums I havent found anything regarding this topic so I'll go ahead and bring it up.

In the past week throughout FW space there have been stories emerging about pilots in frigates that get instantly wiped off by drone boats, primarily Valkyrie Tristans.
The logs of these people show volley hits above 2k damage by said valkyries, and you dont need to open EFT to understand that something is wrong.
Rumours have come to my corporation that there might exist a bug related to the new Kronos ship updates, specifically to the drone bonus hulls.

These cases are now many, and it seems too big a game breaking mechanic to be ignored. So there you have it. And yes we have petitioned it. This is mainly a heads-up to solo and small scale Pvpers. There are pilots that have lost ships they normally wouldnt have lost, so be aware of this when you choose to roam alone in your new faction fitted frigate.

btw. it's against the EULA to post how to exploit due to the above reason

ccp is not giving info about the exploit. the link csm guy put up says there is an exploit....but not what it is. Bit like saying if a cop if I catch you speeding I will bust you hard.

its not hard to figure out, i saw it first being used in incursions with heavy drones... the thing is, the exploit involves "doing" certain thing that are in that 0.001% that DO show in the logs. so don't go trying to reproduce it, or you'll get an angry evemail and probably a short forced vacation from eve.

So I'm in no danger of accidentally committing this exploit for just pvp'ing in drone boats?

No danger at all.

Or at least no more danger than a person "accidentally" entering up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start before a relaxing game of Contra.

Use your OWN drones in pvp and there is zero chance of getting a temp ban.

That's all i can say without giving the exploit away.

The exploit refers to drone bonused ships. Best thing to do is abandon your search for the exploit, and reconnect to eve and go fly a tristan about :3
