How to add up buy and sell orders to determine net worth?

This is probably the dumbest question of the day, but am I adding up my assets wrong?

I'm trading a bunch of things, and I am doing (sellOrders) + (escrowed) + (wallet) + (inventory items plus their future profit).

Whenever I do this, If I have a bunch of buy and sell orders open, and it is way less than what I started trading with. And at the end of the day, I have far more than what I started with.

E.g. currently:
Sell Orders 139,797,000.00
Escrowed 143,796,000.00
Wallet 2,607,318,000.00
Physical Assets 10M
Total Assets 2,890,000,000.00

And I started with nearly 5B.

My question is, how do I add up my finances within the market system? Am I missing something? Am I ********?

Did you add in the amount needed to cover the remaining escrow? (It will be listed in the market window).

I just use EVE HQ...

EDIT: wallet + Sell orders + buy orders + escrow + amount remaining to fill escrow + assets

I thought (amount remaining to fill escrow) was money already in my wallet, and buy orders was the numbers together?

I.e.

Buy orders = escrowed money + money remaining

So adding escrow + wallet accounted for all of it? But I only assumed.

I'm not online so I can't do the addition right now to confirm.

You're probably right on that one actually (I haven't trained the margin trading skill, so I could avoid escrow confusion). In your original post though you didn't list buy orders as part of your equation. Could this be the problem?

I do this

Wallet Balance + Escrow + Sell Orderx(Modifier if you depreciate the value) + Est. Inventoryx(Modifier "same")

also Escrow is mutually exclusive from the Wallet Balance (two different piles of isk)

The amount of money in buy orders should be (if I'm not mistaken) the same as the amount escrowed.

I must be missing something in plain view.

You dont count the "(additional x ISK to cover)", that's the remaining amount of ISK you owe to complete your buy orders, because of Margin Trading. Remember that your sell orders are only worth what they actually sell for.

In adfition to EVE HQ, there's jEVEAssets and https://ohheck.co.uk/EVEStats/richlist.php which seems to be down at the moment.

Ok, so if this is my balance, how much do I have in total?

And not buy orders either, right?

Forgot to mention: I have margin trading IV.

Oh yeah. Buy orders is just escrow plus the amount to cover.

2.9 bil.

You round down because counting chickens before they hatch can get you in trouble.
Sell orders are sketchy that way.
