Strangely enough what's the difference if 0.0 is all blue? You still get to do all the same things you were doing before, you still rat,mine,build and yes you even still PVP the only difference is you might need to jump a few more times before you find a fight.

Things will change as they always do might take a while but someone will probably pay or get a spy in to disband one of the big alliances or most likely people will get bored with ganking miners in high-sec and do something else.

To the OP:

This isn't just EVE; this is human history in general. Empires rise, conquer, become nigh-unstoppable, then break up and fall from internal power struggles, discontent, treachery, and in EVE's case, boredom. The larger an empire is, the more difficult it is to manage...and the more different groups of people involved, the greater the chance for power plays to occur.

I don't claim to be some kind of psychiatrist or master historian, but it's pretty easy to see repeating patterns. This won't last indefinitely, for one reason or another.

USA is an Empire, which rules with military bases 2/3 of the planet. There has never been an Empire like this in mankind.

I am not worried about USA falling soon. It will not happen.

I'm not going to speak for MM but I will say this- we stood but were told to stand down. Or 300 battleships could not counter 300 supers.

The super fleets were steamrolling. UMI-KK was reinforced in less than 15 minutes, where the super fleet then jumped out and hit the next system..

Any fight would have been suicide and nothing more but pilots losing ships and pods.

I'm still waiting for a Ceasar to engulf new eden in flames and finally unite the donut truly under one banner. Then we can all watch the decline of that empire and compare it to Rome. Unlike now, which is more like the Pelopenesian war. Come on null, where is the Emperor? When will he bring true peace and make the alt posters really cry?

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!
