Is There a New Mechanic for Exporting to the Custom Station?

Just returned to Eve in time for the Crucible release.

Have a set of PI facilities in lo-sec. When I went out to collect from them recently, found I could not figure out how to transfer the PI products from the planet surface to the custom station.

When I clicked on the rocket, i got only the Custom Office Transfer Window. No apparent way to transfer PI products into the window.

Has the mechanic changed? What am I missing (I checked the E-Uni Wiki video, and the CCP player guide, but they did not explain what I am doing wrong).

Thanks

Tau,

I am flying in a system right now. The Planetary customs office window is open.

When I open the launchpad window, showing the products stored there, click and drag does not work. I tried left click, right click, and both click. - The products do not move from the launchpad.

This is lowsec right? Who owns the custom office? Is it Interbus or someone else? Big smile

does not appear to be a POCO. At least, there is no I.D. anywhere.

Place the stuff you want to import in the left window. Drag and drop them to the right (they should show up bright green), press "Transfer".

Drag and drop what you want to export from the right to the left, they'll go green, push transfer. Easy.

Ancy,

The problem begins with "place your stuff in the left window".

How?

Here is what i am doing:

1. double click on launchpad. result: Planetary Customs Office Window opens.

2. single click on launchpad. result: the launchpad opens.

3. Click on rocket: nothing happens.

4. Click on storage. You get a list of products at the launchpad.

5. Nothing further works to get the products from the launchpad to the Planetary Custom Window

Possible bug? Or, is the bug between my ears?

thanks,

Access customs office. Window on left is the office. Window on right is your spaceport.

Drag from right to left. See tax amount. Click on transfer. Drag items from left into your cargohold.

Reverse to import.

Note: being able to drag-n-drop stuff in the UI was a major feature of Crucible.

There is nothing in the right window.

Therefore, there is nothing to drag to the left window.

Should I be doing some mechanic to get the PI products into the right window?

Trust in Tau - he knows his stuffs....

If there is nothing in the right hand pane then there is nothing in the launchpad.

Double check your routes from the processors to the launchpad to ensure that you are not venting finished product into the planetary atmosphere.

If you are routing the goo to a storage silo from the procs you should:

1) not do that. Someone may have a particular scenario were that makes sense but in general it is a waste. Just route everything to and from the launchpad.

2) transfer goo from silo to launchpad - it should then appear in the right hand pane - then follow what Tau and Ancy said.

Hang in there

You also may have an orphaned launchpad if you have shifted your infrastructure around the planet.

Check the drop down near the top of the window to see if you have multiple pads - you may have left one somewhere not connected to your current configuration and it is being displayed by default. If so, decommission that leech and drill more holes.

That all sounds like you're working on the planet. You are right clikcing the customs office in space and selecting "access customs office"? Then you should get the windows being described. You shouldn't need to access the plant view at all if your stuff is in the launch pad

You might also check that you have the right spaceport selected. If you have more than one there is a dropdown menu on the right side above your pi materials. That might be why you aren't seeing your materials.

The same Planetary Customs Office interface window opens either way - there is no difference in transfer mechanic

Also, don't forget to check that there actually IS a Customs office in space. It might've been blasted out of the sky.
