Can't say for all of EVE. In lowsec:

1. Lock

2. Press F1 (+ some other keys, if you really feel like it)

3. Other guy died?
3a. Loot his wreck
3b. gf in local
3c. Repair & repeat

4. You died?
4a. Get your pod out
4b. gf in local
4c. Reship & repeat
