go into your HDD, go to the eve folder, locate the evefile application and start from that, bypassing the launcher

C:\CCP\EVE\bin

application is called on my system "exefile"

I would welcome some extra sp anytime. :)

But given the fact that you can login the game using the evefile.exe in the bin folder in the eve map on your computer i think compensation might be a tad far fetched.

Normal login through the launcher worked for me just now btw.

I hereby invoke Malcanis' Law that if I cannot log in I will get additional gametime. I'm sure the GRR GOONS, NULLSEC CARTELS, and EVE players in general won't exploit it at all.
