New update takes hours to download and no end in sight...

The last update takes hours to load and after 4 hours is still loading....

why cant we download that patch as a file as we usual did in the past? it sux.. :(

About as productive as your post. Funny how at least 40,000 other people managed to download the patch with no problems. Therefore your issue is either a temporary issue with CCP's servers (unlikely) or your crappy internet connection. Either way posting in the forums is not likely to solve it - especially if your bandwidth is being throttled by your ISP.

It just baffles me how it has taken you so long to download it, it took me less than 5 minutes to download and install the last patch.

If it's taking 4+hrs for you then it's a problem at your end, either your hardware is no good (slow internet speed?) or some of your software is conflicting (check firewall settings?).

It seems to be a bug. I check the directory where its download it, and it is not increasing at all. Btw: I am still downloading it now.
