Started working on me. Don't know if it was that CCP fixed it or that i just kept the launcher running for a while, but i got in.

It would appear that this is resolved now - Logins should go ahead fine now Smile

Sorry to burst in into your ongoing discussion.
The reason it does not work for Steam accounts when the launcher is not working is because they login via a login token that is generated via Steam, this means that they do not have any "normal" account name in the same way that the rest of us have.

Worst possible time for it to happen. Sunday is usually the peak of the week and there was nothing wrong the game, just the launcher which EVE works without. Glad the launcher works again, hope it doesn't hit the subs.

when i click the exe flie the launcher just starts and no login or pasword field shows .
but when i ticked the auto play "down right corner" everthing is normale. could login again.

Issue resolved YAY!! but what was the issue? Seemed to be webserver related, the forums were acting up as well.

Regarding Steam Accounts:

The way the login works for those that bought EVE Online on Steam, changed on June 4. 2013. Steam users before that date created an EVE Online account on the eveonline website. Since that date, though, Steam users no longer had to/could do this.

Check yourself which party you belong to, if you're a Steam user.

been asleep all day as i work nights tryed to log on but had issues ran the the Eve repair tool but it failed but lucky it made the Eve launch work so now playing
