Could I please get my account activated on Singularity? (Please read)

I just bought a 1 month subscription but my account wasn't active then so not on the Singularity mirror when it happened, but I should still be allowed to play on Singularity, could someone please activate my account on Singularity? I shouldn't have to wait until the next mirror, or?

(I spoke to a CCP rep about this, but I'm a bit worried s/he will just rage against me (no offence), if I wrote about it but I got recommended to by the rookie chat)

well that isn't really fair, especially for the layman who didn't know that.... you're basically saying that I have to keep paying to be able to access something that I should be able to anyway?

Well you don't have to "keep playing" per say, you could not play and still have your account mirrored when they mirror Tranquility.

I waited and many others waited as well, I guess its just the way she goes.

The person most likely able to help you is on vacation atm CCP HABAKUK. Post in the thread to re activate characters and maybe he can assist you when he returns.

I did post on CCP Hababuk's thread about account reactivation - but it wasn't really activated in the first place - I also PM'd Hababuk and was told that there was nothing that could be done..... Which I think there is.... Because obviously they mirror everyones account in the first place - so I'm sure that they could manually add it, but that's just me, at least it's a feature that at least I would have...


Anyway, also, could you clarify what you mean with the mirroring? I mean, wait what, so I could let me membership run out and then when the mirror takes place my account will be active on it? If I have no game time left, that means that my account will be mirrored but it will show that I don't have any time left, so doesn't that mean that I still won't be able to play it?

You only get to play on the test server if you have an active account on the main server.

If your account didn't exist prior to the last mirror, your account won't exist on Singularity and there's nothing they can do.

You can:
- Wait until the next mirror.
- Assuming you are still paying for EVE at that point you will be able to play on the test server.

Lol thanks, so basically I have to keep paying to access the full content of the game in the first place, as I can't play on Singularity, you might think tough ----, but not really, because I think that anyone who pays should be able to play it - otherwise it is kind of ridiculous, that you have to keep paying to access it in the first place.....

Plus the fact that you can't even play Tq at the moment anyway,

I'm not dissing the Devs or the Designers, but come on, why should you have to wait months on end for a mirror to take place, why can't they just actually move your account over, it isn't that hard.... A paying player would expect to be able to play on Singularity as soon as they paid... Otherwise they're not getting Exactly everything that they paid for,

Regardless, £13 is a lot of money for me for 1 month of a game, so that's why I'm raging,

But nothing happens because it's one person in this case (me) rather than 100000 people =)

The test server isn't "full content" TQ is. The test server is exactly what its name implies, for the devs to test things. You're not obligated to have access to the server so can you kindly get off your high horse in that regard?

From what I understand it's very easy for the devs to activate someone's SiSi-side account if it's such a case that:
-The account already existed at the time of the mirror
-The account was deactivated (unpaid for) at the time of the mirror

In your case the account did not exist at all and a non-trivial thing to copy over.

My assumption (so don't quote me on this) is that it'd mess up the database trying to splice in something like that willy nilly. It's like setting bowling pins or dominos, you can't just plop one in when they're already set. If it's already knocked over, picking it back up is no big deal.

I am not being offensive when I say this (so don't take it the wrong way please): Don't you dare say something like that to me.

I am fully in my rights to ASK. I did not Demand to get access to the server, just making a comment,
