I have been messing about with Fits for drakes - As anti Ewar platforms.
Having died a few times recently to small gangs, which might have otherwise been a good fight. Jammed by a blackbird 100km away.

The Drake isn't quite able to hit out to 120km, where a blackbird can still jam from. And Heavy Missiles will take a long time to get there.

I was also looking at the Cerb, but its expensive, and pretty similar DPS.

Then it struck me that the Oracle is a perfect anti ewar platform. It's got mids enough for two ECM's, and extra lows to spare. Easy to achieve a 90+ sensor strength. Tacheon range is huge, and some nice instant DPS. Plus its pretty fast on its toes.

Sure, laughable EHP. But it will keep a Falcon running scared.

Ewar problems solved. As long as you can keep away from the rest of the enemy gang. The Drake is better in that regard, no-one primaries the drake.

I went with the Cerberus. It is more expensive overall but it is worth the extra isk. Keep in mind that fitting a Cerb is not as expensive as fitting the tier3 BC's.
Cerb has amazing range and decent dps - it's main problem is that by the time the missiles get there the target is gone.
Which for taking ecm ship out of a battle is still a good result.
The main kills you will get are fast frigate pilots who decide to burn to you. This is where I think the sniper Oracle might have problems and end up with a Dramiel eating it.

With Cerb you just keep an eye on ranges and the second a frig burns toward you - switch to him and watch him melt. Make sure you have Target Painters fitted.

The best thing about the Cerberus is that people underestimate it.

Don't let anything get within 150km of you that isn't almost dead.
Fire launchers separately cause it looks amazing having so many missiles out at once - no other reason.

I like the idear of using tier 3s as anti E-War or 2nd wave.

Nisroc - Angel of Freedom Nisroc is known as "The Great Eagle".

The Falcon shouldn't decloak with a sniper on the field unless it intends to primary it for jams. I wouldn't call the new BCs "the" anti-ECM boat... just "another" anti-ECM boat that will get added to the list. A list which already includes every sniper fit, ceptors, etc. Fit any sniper with ECCM and call it anti-ECM.

Missile boats, btw, are on the bottom of "dangerous to ECM" list. They're on it, just on the bottom. Because the speed of the missiles makes it very easy to get aligned, weigh the incoming damage, and stay on field till the last possible second. While it does force the ECM off the field for a bit, it's never an actual threat. Align to nearest celestial, warp away, warp back, jam. And now we get to wait for those incoming missiles to cross 100+km again...assuming the ECM doesn't just jam the missile pester problem. Either way, lots of jams land, much confusion is caused, and in the end the ECM lives.

Ti3 BC > missile boats for anti-ECM.
