I enjoyed Johnny Mnemonic but I haven't met another person who agrees. My opinion probably has more to do with Keanu Reeves than anything, but I thought the idea of a melting hard drive in your brain was kind of neat.

That's one of the movies that gets spoiled once you grow older. I liked the idea behind the movie tho...

Always liked Strange Days(1995). Black market dealing in the memories, and emotions of other people.

This arena of conversation is very suppressed.. but it is possible to extend the hippocampus, even an extension with existing memories. This brings a while new meaning to "implanted memories".

On a related note, wireless output from the brain has been possible for a while, but it is also possible to input a steam of electromagnetic information into the brain without physical contact with the scalp. From what I've seen only simple things like body movements have been transferred, but I'm sure much more has been done, and much much more is possible..

I actually enjoyed it.
For different reasons I guess, but I may be a little weird when it comes to enjoying weird movies.
