Socket closed >>> Telia.net ISP issues?

Hello,

Ever since Incarna was launched i started having trouble with keeping gaming sessions active. I got randomly disconnected from the game , and then sent back to the login page.

During the last few days this got even worse as I would get disconnected right after my char booted into EVE. I started looking for causes and this is what I found:

1)Using the LogServer : the disconnection was due to the socket beeing closed by the remote peer.

2)Using PingPlotter: I found out that my session experienced high packet loss (>30%) while transiting Telia.net routers (from London mainly). The router that was dropping my packets is the last hop prior to reaching eveonline nodes.

IP Addresses + DNS resolution for problem Routers:

80.91.247.35 ldn-bb1-link.telia.net
80.91.245.27 ldn-b3-link.telia.net

Also the the first node from eveonline is under the same administration of Telia.net ISP?? (Correct me if i'm wromg?)

213.248.83.198 eveonline-ic-138015-ldn-b3.c.telia.net

From my observations this behaviour (packet dropping) happens during daytime EU hours. When logging in during EU night time the router does not drop enough packets to close the session, even if it still drops packets.

Does anybody have any solutions/suggestions?

PS:
I have to pass through 3 service provider's routers to get too the eve servers :
me >>>UPC.ro >>>aorta.net>>>telia.net>>>eveonline.
Number of hops : 13 .
Packet loss: highest on telia.net London Routers. Little to now loss of packets on the rest of the Telia (Paris and ffm) routers or aorta and UPC routers.

I have exactly the same problem, 20 – 100 % pocket losses at 80.91.245.29, 80.91.247.168 (link.telia.net) inevitably followed by server drop. I contacted local provider (UPC) but have not received any response yet and frankly do not expect much from it.
I had the very same problem 4 years ago, in November 2007 – I cancelled my account after one month waiting, writing the petitions etc.

I am having the same issue connecting from the USA. I posted a topic here about it.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=43133&find=unread

I am reaching an Eve server at address 87.237.36.248 before the packet loss starts. This is the last server before the game server at 87.327.38.200.

The disconnects are so common that I can't fly in any missions or PVP. This really needs someone to look into what is happening.

This appears to have happened before when CCP changed the client/server handshake. CCP, have you done this again?

Packet 6318 and 6319 are keepalives that are good ...

then I'll skip good TCP handshakes ... we see 6337 never gets ACK so 6338 RST
