I´m going to pursue a perfect recon ship plan across all races. Atm i´m training recon 5. But what skills do i need to work on beyond that. And in which ones do i need level 5 and which ones are fine at 4 in the sense that the benefit is miniscule?

Covert cyno and cyno field, recon ships are ok but sometimes just better using a cov ops frig as it can move faster and alot harder to decloak on gates

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

I think that Recons will use mostly skills that are in the 'Electronic Systems' category.
To get all of the recon specific skills perfect, will be around 10 million SP.

Recon V is almost mandatory
Then each ship has a pair of coinciding skills that are relative.
In general, one skill affects the module strength/range, and the other skill affects the modules cap usage.
I think strength is more important, but I still recommend the cap skill at V also.

I would pick a specific ship first if I were you. For instance, Falcon or Arazu, and go for those.
All the recons have a specific role and all of them are fun to drive.

Most recons have Two EWAR specialties.
Web & Paint
Point & Damp
Neut & Track
ECM.

Most EWAR skills generally have a "reduce cap usage" skill and a enhance ewar strength skill. Generally 4's in both of these are pragmatic, but you can train them to 5 to be "lolL33t".

The Recon skill itself used to be a "you need this at 5" skill. It is currently a "you should have this at 5" skill.

Beyond this, Recons are often tight on fitting, and capacitor intensive to fly. As such, you should train up your core skills to make sure you can fit it appropriately, including armor and shield tanking.

Looking at your character sheet, tour missing all the ewar strengthening skills, which is something you definitely want to remedy. You have solid core skills, although the armor comps to 5 would be good too. You should also pick up cyno V, as this allows you to light covert cynos (as well as regular cynos), which is one of the niche uses of a recon.

Covert Cynosural Fields
Covert Cloaking
Perfect jamming skills
Propulsion jamming 5
Sensor damp skills ( sensor linking i believe )
turret destabilization
perfect capacitor / PG / CPU skills for fit
Cloaking 5 ( because you have a delay it helps trust me )
T2 rigging
Weapon Disruption
Capacitor emissions 5
T2 Tank
Recon 5
T2 guns for the arazu and Rapier ( Falcon doesnt usually ever fit any and pilgrim has no need )

Improve Drone skills as needed, Drone interfacing 5 is awesome

After that theres not much more to do for recons but it does set you up to fly a lot of other nice ships really well when you get into them

Also Recon 5, DO IT i did it and ive never regretted a second of train time
