Not only are goons not invading the space, it is likely that the cfc will regard not losing the space as a victory, and n3 / pasta will probably regard a bunch cfc fleet dunkings as victory, and the two conditions can coexist.

This is a sandbox game and at this point it's unclear what each party is _really playing for_ just yet.

They can dunk a few harpy fleets I guess

How can CFC "invade" region that is under CFC control?
