Seems as tho the mods are sensitive to the out of control PLEX price threads......

The real question is whether "out of control" in that sentence is modifying "PLEX price" or "threads", because either is accurate, and the locking of such threads has more to do with the latter than the former.

I am fast becoming a subscriber to the theory the threads are all created by different atls of the same person. Probably a PLEX trader.

The price threads do not even have any relationship to current PLEX price variations. Earlier today PLEX dropped bu 50 to 60 mill about the same time we got two more PLEX threads.

I just think its funny that CCP is SO sensitive about it.

Like the Red Chi-coms and Tiananmen square - their sensors get so mindlessly aggressive about a topic, its clear for some reason, they don't want people talking about it and calling attention to it.

Personally I feel it is because they are manipulating PLEX prices for their own gain by wiping PLEX off the market with conjured ISK. Impossible to prove, but the manipulation benefits them ONLY as long as it isn't obvious that the manipulation is happening. Because many individuals respond to that kind of underhanded activity by refusing to participate any longer.

Which exactly why people are calling attention to it - and ISDs have been ordered to aggressively moderate any mention of it.

Whats funny, is I hardly care. I love the PLEX system, and I love it when CCP does underhanded stuff, makes the game feel more lawless. I really don't care how much PLEX costs, even though that is my chosen way of paying for accounts. (game time paid with monopoly money > real money)

It's these threads that actually prompted me to buy a bunch of PLEX for myself and jump on the train, thus contributing to its inflation.

The trick of course is jumping off before it derails.

i did the same, i dumped the entire corp wallet in to plex buy orders.
