Yes, I got interested when it reached 2k, now ... it{s 70k and counting ... for potato salad.

This is the stuff all marketing and social engineers still donĀ“t quite grasp when predicting trends, fascinating!

Countless hours I have had with friends over this and the implications for the future

Another notch in the quickfire setups

Big smile

Cheers!

Do it man! I'll tout on kickstarter for you, or support your project however is effective and appropriatethat. Do you know Abilitations? They have an amazing catalog of so many insightfully designed things for working with people with unique needs. No hype or profit business b.s. either, it's all stuff for working practitioners. I'm struggling to find the good stuff by searching terms on their website, just because things don't fit into easy categories, or the category yields too many page of results. Thumbing through (free on request) paper catalog is better.

Deep pressure sensory vest

Pressure principles submarine kit (not related to PT, but there it is)

Adjustable tranquil turtle

A few random things I found, you know this stuff better than I do. I couldn't find the inflated mat and weight LED light noodles for dark room calming-- who wouldn't like that? Smile In any event, hope you do the project. Lack of opportunities for exercise (and resulting obesity) is a constant problem for disabled people and their families. It's a good project and it's highly needed, all over the world.

Thank you all for the support! My biggest hurdle is that with my health issues, covering insurance for myself is very expensive and very risky. The risk being that if I have to have another surgery it is guaranteed 4 months out of work, so currently whatever I do has to be on the side so I can work full time for insurance and short term disability benefits. Luckily, my current job is what I would like to do privately.

My initial thoughts are to find someone that owns a store front that is unoccupied and trade my services to cover rent, then all I need is the money for whatever equipment I want to get into the facility.

Thank you for the links Khergit. They were probably too long or something else borked the links, but I have the names to look for.

LOL *smh

@Slade Trillgon -
Yeah, do it, Slade!
Depending on where you live - Perhaps applying for a government grant to get it started and partnering with another who could cover for you if needed might be a possibility? Seems like folks might be more willing to donate to a kickstarter idea where there is already at least a little actually done in moving in the direction the idea wants to go. Also seems like an idea that grant(s) both government and private might be willing to get with.
Do it.
