Hi there everyone.
currently it appeared to me that an ingame fitting toll would be great.
i mean the ISIS is great and all. Lol
but i feel there would make a nice feature to actually have that eve fitting tool inside the game.

i know there already is a software for it on PC but im alittle surprised this havent been integrated before. Roll

maybe there could be some beginner fitts so the new begeinners know alittle how to start the fitting and understanding of fitting their ships.

but i donno, am i the only one thinking this way? Idea

we got 2 dedicated tools i think it will be cool if ccp will take those and integrate them into the game somehow and reward the developers with some system on their name or something.

CCP cannot just integrate Pyfa or EFT into the EVE client as they do not own the rights to them.

The current tools run on all major OS's (and a several minor ones), are very accurate (more accurate than the in game fitting window in many cases), and are updated promptly when CCP makes changes to the game.

I see no reason for the CCP devs to do duplicate work. Their time is better spent on things that only they can do. Like balancing ships, fixing POS code, and fixing sov mechanics.

And did anyone bother to read the news/dev blogs in the Launcher ? You are getting skilless module fitting.

I call this thread quite unnecessary.

Besides, fist time in I used EFT after 6 months or so, hardly use it at all. I like to research, be informed and fit ingame.

is there any fitting tools for mac?
i have been searching everywhere for a similar tool, but i might be looking wrong. Shocked

but it would be a nice feature even tho some of you used the tools ages ago, everyone isn't that skilled with fitting.
i'm sure there would be a possibility they add some kinda fitting tool in the future, but i never said they had to integrate pyfa or EFT .
that would be to steal, or they can buy the program/company that makes the software of course P

i'm not familiar with the sov mechanics and i´m sure they will make some changes whatever you may dislike about it. Bear

if you have a software for mac similar to eft, please do let me know. Attention

Pyfa

One thing that shot through my head: Would be cool iif CCP could host legit EFT/Pyfa files for download (with the creators' consents, which shouldn't be that hard to acquire). Then again, I don't know if they are willing to put up with the bandwidth.

Back on topic.
The others are right about using the offline/OOG tool. I must say though, EFT is a bit of a pain when a new version comes, too, so somewhere, I understand this request of an official ingame tool. Especially one that also takes care of getting API :3

Using tablet, typoes are common and I'm not going to fix them all.

I too like to fit in-game and not know whether my last hybrid rig will set me over my PG limit or not.

Why don't they update the ingame browser cause out of game ones work so much better that they are now concidering removing it from eve.

ingame fitting would be the same way it would be good for a while then as things change wouldn't always be the best and in 5 years it would be so bad that it would probably outright lie to you. As this would be something they would have to update everytime they change any mod or ship in game (as we know they be lazy with keeping up on code. see IGB and there constant years of oh that's legacy code we can't touch that)
