Remote item stacking and splitting

I wasn't sure if I should put this here, or if I should put it in a bug report.

I have three toons situated in the same region all of whom do industry (inventing and T2 production) who supply each other. Their indy is all in the same system which isn;t the one they reside in. every so often one runs out of something and I have to contract it. One is the trader toon so he has the big stacks and I usually do an item exchange for raw materials in exchange for the T2 items that have been made so I can pick them up at a later date in bulk and only have to do one contract instead of two, however....

It seems that basic maths is beyond the scope of contracting. It cannot handle subtraction or addition. If I have 1million units in a stack and the contracted payment is ten thousand it won't accept the contract, I must split the stack, which is only possible to do remotely if I set up a fake contract and split the stack in there, a little bit annoying, a little bit time consuming but, meh, it's not so bad. however, if the contract is for a hundred hob II's and I have a hundred hob II's but they are in ten stacks of ten it will not accept it, I cannot make a fake contract to stack them as it keeps them in their seperate stacks, I cannot add them to the contract in ten stacks of ten as it will only let me request an item once, therefore I MUST fly to the station and stack them myself before it will accept I have a hundred hob II's.

I can strip a ship remotely, buy and sell my stuff remotely, do lots of things remotely but I can't split or stack items?

It is ludicrous,

Makes sense, there's a dev sticky to get feedback on the contract system at the top of this subforum, have a look and/or post there.

Yeah, when it comes to asset management and the inability to directly split or combine stacks (for spliting, outside of doing fake contracts) always boggled me.

We can trash stuff remotely, we can contract (and via contracts, split) remotely, but combining/splitting stacks is a PITA for no real gameplay reason and allowing a direct route for doing these tasks would be tres welcome.
