Why arent there any race specific clothing in the NES?

What ever happened to RP? Everyone dresses the same.

What happened CCP? Why arent your designers focusing in that direction?

RP is alive and well! Smile

What your characters are wearing really has little impact on it though.

In fact there's a campaign that's been running for quite a while asking to unlock all racial clothing so any race can wear any other race's clothes, hairstyles and tattoos.

Well, tbh I don't think their designers are really focussing on any fashion directions right now.

The recently added items to the NES were in fact quite old items that'd been in the database since Incarna AFAIK. Cleaned up, tweaked a little and released only recently.

I'm still holding out for the dresses to be able to be worn without damn pants. Roll

Not to sound too negative though. The art team have done a wonderful job and I really look forward to further releases.

A proper Amarr wouldn't be caught dead in Gallente see-through plastic clothing. (However, an Amarr being caught in a dead Minmatar is a bit of a gray area.)

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Necrophagia, I think.

Originally the idea was to have elements for each race unique to that race. The bloodline clothing for the old avatars were pretty locked and I believe that stats also reflected various bloodlines IIRC. The shift has been to have everything available to all players. Personally I like the mix and match approach which can play into the RP aspect so you can have your rebellious anti-slave Amarr where a shirt with a Rifter on it. Likewise I like how all those skin tones were unlocked for all bloodlines. While there still is a higher percentage of pale Amarr and Sebeistors and dark Brutors the sheer variety of character looks seem much larger these says as well as the ability to tailor your character to your tastes.

I am more concerned about the current clothing advertised on the market with a supply of zero. a fellow corp member has been chewing my ear off over this fact. Where is or when will that purple rocket dress be available so i can stop the constant noise over my comms.

Im not sure what NES the OP is looking at; its all race-specific

In fact, there's no non-human clothing at all

And even sebiestors are allowed to wear people clothes on public holidays

Back in the day, too many min-maxers picked the same race/bloodline because it gave a slight advantage in skillpoints or stats.

Then there was a lot of crying about how their new avatar didnt have all the options.

I want to know why the rocket dress makes your boobs look jagged.

Sideboob

I'd count my fingers after giving those a squeeze.

The old characters had distinctive traits. The 'new' ones are technically better but are utterly non-descript.

OP, why don't you go make a game with microtransactions and then arbitrarily limit who can purchase specific microtransaction items? I'm sure it will work out very well for you. Roll

I agree...I can't even tell you how long I've been waiting for our glorious Minmatar breathing masks to make their return. And they should only be for our race like they used to be.
But yeah...I definitely want more clothing items to pick from, and more sci fi looking ones instead of mostly dull modern clothing.
