Where are your referees now, Brazil? Lol

Germany absolutely destroyed them like the footballing machine I know they can be. Really hoping for Holland to get a win now, I'd rather see Germany vs an actual, functioning team rather than Germany vs Messi.

But, but, Neymar is down...! This is not fair! They were supposed to walk their way to the Brazil - Argentina!

(Oh, and just let's see what Holland does... Germany vs Holland would teach a few lessons about "stars" vs "teams")

Are you sure you where watching the world cup?

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

It's just a mugging at this point. Brazil also trying to get the referee's sympathy AGAIN with a ridiculous dive. I hope Germany gets 5 more goals on them.

7-0!!!!!!!

The sad thing is, it looks like Germany doesn't even want to score any more goals to keep the Brazilians from totally losing their face.
And yet the ball somehow finds its way in... it's kind of absurd.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

"What was that, offsides?"

Lol

Q: Should we be worried? A: Nope. (...) Worry a lot if Fozzie, Masterplan, Rise, Veritas, Bettik, Ytterbium, Scarpia, Arrow, or even Greyscale leaves. Worry a little if Punkturis, karkur, SoniClover, Affinity, Goliath, or Xhagen leaves.

At least the players will need personal security to protect them from raging lynchmobs.

I would think that playing without Neymar and Silva probably had a profound effect on Brazil's ability to win.

If Brazil didn't burn, I'd think they'd get in buses to Colombia for retribution for Neymar's injury.

I heard on NPR that many may be blaming Brazil's president and the staggering loss may affect her reelection!

Curious how Germany-Brazil is 5-0 yet US tied them.

It seems like Germany took it easy because we mentioned we might stop tapping their phones it probably wasn't worth it for them to risk playing hard against a mediocre team?

At times you just gotta have your day.We , the dutch, had that in our first game against spain.Everything just went in the best way it could , but you only get one of those games in a tournament and looks like the germans had that yesterday.

That said , even though us dutch are not too fond of ZE GERMANZ and they are our arch enemy in football i have to say i am glad they won.Brazil came this far mostly with thanks to the referees while Germany did it on their own strenght.

Curious to see what today will bring , Argentina depends on messi mostly where the dutch team seems to hang on robben. This game can go either way depending wich of the former two is having his bad day/good day and just maybe van persie finally get's a bit alive again after playing 2 horrible games in a row.

Not sure if i want us to go through though. The idea of playing another worldcup final in 4 years time and again loosing it and this time of all teams versus Germany then i'd rather get thrown out in the semi-finals Blink .

from the days when Scolari was our country's coach, my guess is that germany simply went for an effective tactic against Scolari's game method which is, putting it simple, "joga bonito" (play it beautiful) P

the way to **** up Brazil's game is to simply follow a "no-game" tactic. Saw Greece doing it in 2004 with great efficiency, and if you put Germany's already world-class players doing it, this result isn't as far fetched as it seems. It's a tactic that works wonders on more technical teams like Brazil, and Portugal too if you think about it. It also doesn't work that good when you go for teams that play it straight (USA).

The US squad has a recent history, last 15 years, of playing very strong against Germany. Plus, 3 of our starters (dual nationals) were raised in the German farm system and were actively recruited by our coach who just so happens to be an ex-German National head coach. Plus pretty much his whole staff are still in the same positions as they were in when he was the head coach.

That one (Argentina-Nederlands) was brutally fought. I hated to see either side eliminated after just one hard-fought battle.
