also politely please tell me how to connect to this using a mac client? the launcher doesn't seem to let me even when you add the server thing it needs to connect to

this might or might not work


Open automator, found in applications
Select "Application"
In the tree view on the left side, select "Library" and in its submenu, select "Tools"
Among the choices to the right, double click "Run Shellscript"
The right hand side should now contain a window in which you see the text "cat". Replace that text with "open -a "
Locate your Eve Test TQ in Finder and drag it into this window and add double quotes around it
Add " --args /server:87.237.38.50"
The text should now be looking like open -a "/Applications/EVE Online TQ.app" --args /server:87.237.38.50
In the File menu, select Save. Save anywhere you wish.


change server IP to whatever server you want to hit up

Hey faife, tried that but it leaves me with a laucnher that doesn't connect, i've managed to get some access by digging deep and changing some code so if anyone else needs help with it just convo me in game

The worst bit is the total lack of communication. It is bad enough that we are 5 weeks on from Fozzie confirming it's availability, and 3 weeks from Veritas hinting that it was close.

It is not like you haven't had since the last AT to prep this CCP.

The 'radio silence' is not helping you customers. The AT is supposed to be your flagship event as a draw to get new players in.

This is also topped of by instability issues on Sisi.

Just let us know what is going on and the new eta.

The ETA is "when it's done".

Be aware that the tournament as a whole and duality in particular are a labour of love for a group of us at CCP and as always it relies on us committing our spare time outside of work hours.

There are a few more issues we need to iron out with Duality but we're continuing to work on it (including me working on it during my vacation) to get it ready for you as soon as we can.

The search function is also broken on duality, you can not search for places, characters, stations etc. You can also only join it if you were on the access list from 2013.
