I've actually suggested to them that they start dropping one gun for a smartbomb on their gank ships for fleet ops (i.e. freighter ganks) just so they can collect bounties off of each other. Considering that most of the bounties were likely placed there by folks they've ganked, it's just one more way for them to maximize the "tears" harvested.


I think in most cases, the smart bomb won't fit because of the CPU requirements, unless we drop a SEBO/ECCM/scram, but it might be worth considering. However, since in most cases our ships are only going to pay out about $2M in bounties per ship, it probably wouldn't be worth the DPS loss, or needing an extra ganker or two to make up for it. Of course, this would be the FC's call.

From a purely tactical standpoint, you are correct, the drop in overall performance wouldn't likely be offset by the income gained. At the very least, it would certainly make more sense if your fleet is running with some Brutix/Talos fits in the mix.

You may want to look up what quotations are.

Quotation marks can used around a single word or a group of words to indicate use of a borrowed word or phrase. Using this, I was referencing the person's meaning of 'real' pvp and stating that their goal is not what that person deems to be 'real' pvp.

So please, if you are going to criticize anyone for what they think the meaning of pvp is, at least criticize the correct people..
