Best location for solo content

So I'm at a point where the only gameplay I haven't experienced is wormholes. As a player with quite limited spare time and AU tz this has led me to a mostly solitary lifestyle in game. For years I have flown around lowsec - doing mah thing - but I feel like I'm running out of stuff to do. I'm not scared of pvp although I don't look for it.

What I would like to put to the floor is what is the objectively best part of the game for someone like me to live out of. I'm talking about anywhere. I need to be able to support myself and have an opportunity to make some money. I don't want to farm. I have better uses for my time (ie I make enough money irl that my limited play time is better spent shooting and doing some exploration).

I investigated starting a corp of my own but due to the aforementioned reasons it's not practical.

So throw it at me. I post this because yesterday I thought about unsubbing which seems like a shame because its more like I'm stuck in a routine and I'm bored rather than burnt out.

Well, "solo play" doesn't really get you very far in New Eden (as you've noticed - it's boring).

You could try w-space, but it's likely to end up "boring" again, soon as you learn how everything "works" (as you've done with lowsec).

Suggest that you look for an Aussie corp that's laid back about members online time, so at least you have a decent chance of player interaction (and/or seek out Aussie chat channels)

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Mining in the test server. Make sure it's somewhere relatively empty.

I am in the same way. I've played all over the map and been in some very large corps. I think if I went back to that, it might work out for me. Some of my best days in eve were spent just hanging out in voice comms.

For now, until i am relocated, I have chosen a C3 LS Wormhole. Several alts doing PI keeps the fuel costs down as well as making a little isk. I run sites, mine gas, mine, react gas and build from the gas products. I have, in the past, done invention, research and made copies for a little added content. For added isk and for fun I also replaced all of the POCO's in my little home.
I guess if I got really bored, I might build a capitol but that would only make me more of a target.

I will second what someone above has said, once you get settled.... it can get boring again. I have kicked around the idea of bringing in a few more people for company and to keep the number of sites down. A small corp that I can charge a little for using customs works well.

You could try mission flipping in an assault frigate.
As a wormholer you're better qualifyd for it than I am.
Scan down a bear in a battle ship ,(if you do some research this could be rather profitable)

Honestly, I think the best way to solo eve is to not worry about money. It's just a grind any way you cut it. So I just buy plex whenever I want more ships to go boom or I want new shiny things. Once you accept that, then everywhere in eve becomes an opportunity for solo fun.

I realize that there are ways to make magnificent bling space dollars by doing relatively simple and not time consuming things with the market. I just haven't taken the time to figure that out yet. My point is that grinding is for people who have a lot of playing time available and are able to play with a group that can make the grind at least somewhat efficient and social. I don't have much playing time, and what I do have, I use to get away from people, for the most part. Sell plex, and have fun wherever you are.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

Get something cloaky. T3, maybe a stratios. Or even a stealth bomber to start with. Use a WH to get into deep null or whatever. prowl around cloaked, and jump on unsuspecting people. Get out ASAP before they bring in buddies. Solo PvP FTW.

Also, find Data/hacking sites, but don't complete em. Wait for an Astero to come out. Pop it. Then take thier sweet 50m SoE probe launchers.

I found the best solo content when logged off back country hiking. The views can be amazing.

Hope that helps

Roll up an alt. Give him 100 mil.

Then see if you can scam your way to a billion.

It depends on if youre looking for "Solo" combat, Solo combat, or combat with Han Solo.

One youll find in trade hub duels, one youll find if you look really hard, and the other is quite a distance away and many years in the past..not to mention fictional.

The last one is the solo combat.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Jita.

Sell your PLEX, buy everything you can possibly need while docked, plenty of fights/duels as soon as you undock.

I mean, really, who needs another 5,000 star systems in EVE when you've got EVErything in one little corner of space. P

Joining Faction War is a good choice, decent income, both pve and pvp to be had. Overall it is a fun even if you are solo. Although, YMMV.
