Fw Mechanics Actively Discourage Elite PVP

Elite PVP - The use of huge blobs, capital ships, and metagaming to defeat a target you already significantly outnumbered.

Well, to be fair, it does require some skill to organize a disparate group of people, to accumulate capital ships, to metagame, and then apply superior force at the right location at the right time to achieve victory.

tl;dr - Elite PvP didn't win Iraq. Blobbing with capitals did. But a lack of metagaming is probably going to lose it.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

Meh to the topic in general.

L33t is just the guy/group that win any encounter. Doesn't matter if it s blob, solo, small gang or ISBoxer running multiple accounts.

You win. You l33t.

We're all only as l33t as our last fight.

You missed the single most important factor to EVE activity (or inactivity), and that's ISK per second. No dough? No go.
You also sort of skipped over why smaller ships became popular gamewide over the larger ships and the demise of the battleship as the end all, be all of personal fighting ships.

If the idea is to stimulate interest in FW to increase the number of players doing it, I suggest you take another tack, 'cause this one don't get it. If this is indeed your intent, I think you'll find your "prospective recruits" out, en masse, ganking in dessies.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Faction Wars was a very different place with regular battleship blobs soaring over 100 every night and capitals and supercapitals being dropped pretty frequently for lo sec. Then, everyone involved suddenly lost their courage and started flying around in frigates.
.

Or it could be because of some entitys have gotten so massive super cap fleets, and cyno chains that any dropping of caps/supers in low sec = insta death to them most of the time.

Jump bridging kills BS fleets. Why? It means you can instantly blob a battleship fleet with your own BS and some triage caps. If you had to commit supers to the field using a regular cyno but COULDN'T bridge a sub-cap-support fleet in at the same time, you'd see less hot-dropping. If you can't tackle, neut and blob targets, most capitals wont get kills.

Suddenly people AFK'ing at a POS-Titan need to start moving around instead of getting beam-me-up-scotty'd into a fight.

The solution is pretty obvious...

Instead of reducing power projection from things like hotdrops and bridges; embrace this joy of speedy movement!

Every corporation or alliance joining FW gets access to an NPC Titan (its already there in Luminaire!!!!) and can jumpbridge as much as they like for a small ISK usage fee!

That'll surely level all playing fields!!1!oneELEVEN!!

I'm in. This has "Best. Idea. Ever." written all over it.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.
