The last thing GalMil needs is more people shooting at them. We used to be amazing in FW and then everybody got the dumb all at once. Now you can practically walk right in the front door and nobody will stop you. 90% of the remaining Gallente Militia is farmers and afk station campers.

If CFC is actually engaging the GalMil then It makes sense. Goons are used to shooting at stuff that cant or wont shoot back.

Shouldn't your sig be changed so it says Failed CSM Candidate?

Shoulda coulda woulda CFC, your time will come soon... beware... for the night is dark and full of Vince Draken's wrecking-ball fleet of doom!

Some day you'll look back on this thread and say to yourselves: "Gee, we probably shouldn't have peeved those GalMil guys, they had a lot more connections than we thought, lol." Cool

When under pressure, and faced with no options, most people opt to lie about their epic nullsec connections to make themselves look tough. You have actually inverted this argument and are warning the nullseccers about your epic lo sec connections.

A daring plan.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

You act like CFC has the capacity to do anything to us. It's been proven time and again that they don't. All they can do is grief the entire warzone and the squiddlidoo blob with it. Laugh it up calimari, it is we who will laugh last... as usual you know, because you literally always lose and haven't been able to field a competent militia in years.

Or better yet, hot drop them back.

I joined the Gallente Militia on the very 1st day of faction warfare and I was fighting squids in Tama the very 1st time Pandemic Legion dropped carrier on us. We didn't complain, We FOUGHT BACK (while eating delicious Croissants as is the law for space fairing Frenchmen).

In my experience, as with any aspect of EVE, you gotta take the good and the bad. Heck, take them both and there you have it: a true sandbox MMO for better or worse. ‘Cause there comes a time when you gotta go and show those guys, whether in null or in low, that you’re growing and you know what you’re doing. Especially after patch days, where they never seem to be living up to your dreams and suddenly you find out. It’s all about you. Not us. Not the game. You. It takes a lot to get them right, so give them a break, while you're learning the facts that you may not be as good at this game as you think.

This hotdropping is more of a problem than we thought. Without a moment's notice, it will cause a pilot to biomass. Hotdropping needs to be nerfed.

So in order to stop hotdrops, low sec should be made a gallente win zone? What about all the pirates living there? Should our capital ships be rendered useless (with the sideeffect of removing our ability to move homebase within a resonable time (takes me 31 carrier jumps to move my hangar, no way I could do that without cynos...) because you cant handle hotdrops? PL is doing the exact same thing in the amarr-minmatar zone. How do you stop it? Stop fielding ships they are interested in killing. While the dounut is active, park anything larger then a battlecruiser and wait for them to be bored. Its people like you and your faction warfare, which makes them have enough to do, to actually staying around.

Question: Is there a countermeasure against a hotdrop? Or is it just a noobship lighting a cyno and then 1000 hostiles of varying sizes are on your head one lag spike later?

Kill the cyno? Get PL to drop on them? Run away? Not be on grid at all? Whine on the forums? Kill them all?

Just to point out that as a veteran in Gallente militia, I can safely say that the OP: Gallentiuz ...

Is a trolling alt.

No kills or losses on the killboards and talking crud like " we're just better players".

I'd actually suspect some Caldari main trying to make us look bad with shiptoasts (oh no!)
or someone with some beef with XG (which is hard to imagine as he's a very nice guy).

So all in all, a pretty sad waste of time thread tbh. But oh yes, don't let me stop your little forum theatre.

4 pages thereof. To be honest im amazed we havent had a vist from our loacl ISD yet.

Still, 9 out of 10 op. Good troll idea and just enough random crap spewed to keep people biting. Well done, well done indeed.

It seems to me that nullsec shouldn't be allowed to drop a bunch of their ships on top of gallente militia pilots who are just trying to hold their own against the caldari who already outnumber us severely. It is becoming increasingly common for alliances like RZR to jump in with 10x as many ships as we have on the field. There is no honour in this and it is cramping a warzone that is already reeling from completely messed up offensive plexing due to overpowered rat spawns being added to novice plexes.

My proposal to remedy this problem is as follows: First, only the faction in control of a fw system is allowed to light cynos within those systems. This ensures that there is a reason to fight for system control aside from taking stations which is a really trivial thing that nobody cares about. Second, have an incursion-like debuff for the opposing faction and neutrals in systems controlled by the militia. This will give small but competent gallente forces a fighting chance to do battle when they are so outnumbered. I think a 30% penalty across the board would be sufficient because of the fact we are already better than most caldari and nullbear pilots to begin with.

Unfortunately we know that this problem will only be worse due to the boredome of the blue doughnut. CFC is becoming increasingly bored of farming in their unchecked space and they're taking out this boredome on gallente, basically griefing them and taking away the good fights that we used to enjoy, replacing them to non-stop blobbing and one-sided nonsense. As a player who fights for the gallente because they are always the skilled underdog, I know this is going to pass and we will weather the storm, but in order to prevent a long-term damage to the FW system I think these changes should be taken seriously.

I forget the exact rules, but I'm pretty sure this is the bad post mega bingo of the year.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon
