2) What quite a few of them implied by dual statics meant a k-space static. Very few of the actual C4 corps want 2 j-space statics. A super C4 highway would literally kill them off. Corps that can only field 5-15 during peak times can't match the 30+ blobs spewing in from C5/C6 space. If they could, they damn sure wouldn't be in C4 space.

3) True on all accounts.

4) Almost exclusively C5/C6 residents championing this cause. The C2 guys really haven't chimed in positively as how such a change would benefit them. Like I said, C5/C6 groups championing dual statics want easy kill with victory assured. Even on a number basis, 10 C4 residents vs 10 C5 residents {sporting multi-billion isk PVP fits due to imbalanced Cap escalations} are going to lose damn near every time.

Pfft.

There's no rule anywhere in wormholes which says a corp which only corps with 15-25 active members should live in a certain class of wormholes. What limits the size of lower class wormhole corps is the rate of site spawning (ie; ISK spawning) which can only feed so many hungry mouths. Like Herr Bert says, mouths are excessiely hungry because you get led down a propagandised path of "must have blingy 750M ISk Proteus x 10 plus 6 Guardians" before you can PVP in wormhole space. Not neccessarily true - fly cheaper ships, more often, and avoid podding each other so much and people will fight more.

What happens is that due to the escalation ISK faucet, groups which want to carebear like neckbeards can leverage themselves into vast pools of ISK. This means that, firstly, C5-6 is more attractive to people because they get to put X-types on their Reapers; they feel more Elite than they reasonably ought to ; the number of people in each wormhole habitat can be greater, and the dynamic of how they make ISK changes (less PI, more red X's).

That doesn't mean a smart corp with 40 actives cannot exist in C4 space; they just have to be a bit less lazy than they would otherwise be, both in terms of ragerolling, scanning chains, and PVPing. Likewise, you can have a corp of as little as 8 members (alts) efficiently run C5 escalations, which is otherwise known as a Bear Quad.

There's claims of C4space "hotting up" which I find absurd. There are a few good C4 corps out there who PVP in the X877 Goat Track chain you get, but they are rare, because C4 space is poorly connected. Twin J-statics would slve that, and see a boom in serious PVpers.

Speaking as a C2 guy i can say that I would prefer to see C4's host dual J-space statics because, as Jack says, it would provide more connectivity. Citing inbound transients you had yesterday in your wormhole as evidence of enough connectivity existing is like saying there's no global warming because you had a cold winter in your town.

The Y683 static out of c2's isn't used for PVP as much as an O477 is; this is why B-O C2's are so prized. Not oly is it margnally easier to run C3 sites, you tend to connect to C3's which are farmed more and connect most regularly to lowsec, which is where you find a lot of fights (and decent ISK), and more wormholes. The Y683 leads to C4's which lead to C4's which leads to nowhere fast.

Plus of course, you have your B274, which you use to terrorise mission bears with a Nereus, find other C1's and C2's and C3's to PVP in, and go run incursions in.

So, that's why twin statics would be good - it stops you exhausting your chain's potential after 5 minutes, getting bored, and logging.

I also doubt C5 and C6 people are pushing this issue along in self-interest. I cannot see how they would really benefit from more statics in C4 space, because it is far more easy to go out into nullsec to trawl carrier kills than it would be to sit there, rubbing your hands with glee, waiting to connect to more w-space systems or C4's, in the hope of ganking someone.

Nope.
