Effective Standing vs "True" Standing: POS and Jump Clones

hello,

i understand you need 8.0 standings with an npc corporation to use jump clones. is that "effective standing" or "true standing"?

same thing for pos... would an effective standing of 5.0 be sufficient or do i need true standings?

For jump clones the effective standing is enough, however for a POS you need corp standings to be above the threshold, and those are calculated of your base (true) standing.
