CCP: minor Mac client request

Hi,

I have a question if this (hopefully minor) feature would be possible for the Mac client: as soon as I start EVE dock and title bar slide out. The EVE client itself does not have any title bar. In EVE I'm able to set my resolution so it fits the screen. Both, title bar and dock are still availabe and slide in when I move my mouse to the top/bottom of the screen.

In Mac OS there are some apps using this feature. MS remote desktop for Mac or VMWare Fusion for instance. Would it be possible to implement this for the EVE Mac client as well?

Please note: I don't speak about the new fullscreen feature in OSX Lion. Imho this is not really usefull since I'm not able to have any other app above my fullscreen app...for EVE this makes no sense. I want to be able to have other apps above EVE when I need it.

The way how fullscreen is implemented in Lion (atm) is crap. It's an exclusive fullscreen. It's not possible to have other apps on the same screen. A quick check to another app changes to another space.

But most important: it's not possible to use more than one display that way! I want to be able to set a custom resolution to my EVE client so it spans over 2 displays. Lion fullscreen does not use extra screens - except the app supports it explicitly. If that's possible for EVE: ok, then Lion fullscreen maybe.

Not if I want to keep an eye on overview or local while doing something else.

I think you both are right. Give us full screen (OSX Lion version) option AND option to remove title bar.

Doubt if we'll get that as long as we're running a Cider bottled version of the Windows client. Maybe if they bit the bullet and did a proper Mac client, but I wouldn't hold your breath for that one.

This is me officially begging for either of these options. Especially being able to 3 finger swipe between full screens.

Yeah, windowed fullscreen has been around for ages on Windows, but not for Mac. Not sure if it's a technical issue or what, but particularly those of us with more than one monitor are kinda dying for this very basic feature.
