I guess this question belongs here...
How do I get a kill right? I have googled it, and got confusing information stating that you get a kill right for anything from getting an offensive module activated on your SHIP to having your POD destroyed. That is as broad as it can get. And addditional question - if more than 1 person participated in the attack, do I get kill rights on all of them? Just one? Who exactly?
Recently my ship was blown. They didnt touch my pod, so I was able to escape in it! I didnt get any kill rights however...

Maybe they activated a killright on you or you were in null or lowsec?

Think you only get the killright for whoever gets the killmail, were you suspect or criminal timered

no, nobody has kill rights on me. and yes, I was in lowsec. I've read in many places that kill rights arent generated in nullsec only?

OK, so criminal flags are incurred differently in highsec and lowsec.
For the future, how far can I go with a kill right? Destroy his ship only? Or pod him as well? I didnt see it mention in that link.

NM, I found it. I can pod someone who has a suspect flag, which is caused by activating a kill right, among other things. Let alone pod someone who has a criminal flag.
