Everyone knows goons bot. All alliances deployed to assist in the defense of Deklein made a point of telling members not to report goon botters (it is only bad if ruskies do it).

They are in null, ergo they bot and RMT .. not that hard to grasp. Sure there may be some who do it even more but any breach can be sanctioned so scope is irrelevant.

Now give me the tools to grief the **** out of them and/or give them the tools to make the illegal practises redundant and all will be right with the world.

Law-abiding Empire citizens would never dream of using macros to run missions, right?

Right?

Even if Goons are RMT'ing, does anyone here honestly believe CCP would do anything about it?

Ponies!  We need more ponies!

why you gotta pay em off? I read in another thread most of them ARE/were goons so all you gotta do is tell mittans to tell em not to **** with u lol

Hmm when i was in TEST, the following once happened...

1) Goony set up a bot in F-88
2) Bot works as intended
3) Playable Char warps in, bot malfunctions and shoots Playable Chars ship, PC warps out
4) Playable Char creates several forum threads here and there alerting people to the fact a Goony is running a bot in TEST space
5) Mintrolio says to said Goony and Mittens "WTFBOT?"
6) Mittens threatens to reset TEST if they don't kick Playable Char
7) Playable Char gets kicked
8) Robot returns, then gets blown up by other Playable Chars

Although i haven't seen any RMT sites i KNOW are run by goony's, one can put 2 and 2 together

You know, I am starting to doubt the integrity of nullsec. With so much cheating going on, I worry that EVE will not be viewed as a viable game five years from now.

Also, this is the most blatant admission of botting I have ever seen(because macroing and botting are the same thing, as far as CCP is concerned), and someone who isn't as lazy as I am should report him. Lol

Where there is smoke there is fire, however in eve online the metagaming is essentially smoke and mirrors.

tbh I strongly suspect the number of bots running in highsec vs nullsec is roughly proportionate to the general high vs null population.

But running a bot in null, and the condoning by alliance leaders and the machinations sometimes involved make it a much more compelling story, which is why some guy like elusif is a multi-article story on EN24 and "guy who pressed 'Run courier missions' in Irjunen" does not.

This. While I will admit the temptation to bot in nullsec is probably a bit higher, its also more highly policed(every alliance I have seen recently has had either a KOS policy on bots, or turned a blind eye to shooting them, despite what I keep seeing people say) and more likely to be disrupted, and so have a lower income level.

After all, a L4 mission bot is going to make more isk than any bot in lowsec can manage anyway Roll

Unless the smoke is from evenews24. Then it's just the stench of bad journalism.
