Rolling out, take two.

That's it. Doors are closed. Our breakup was peaceful and drama free. Some of us stayed behind for a few extra days to make sure everyone got out safely. Many of us who met in Rolled will stay in touch and fly again together in the future. Some of our AU guys went to HK, many went to null, some are forming new corps, some are free agents and some are taking breaks.

In retrospect however, what really happened was Sky and Rolled were both destroyed by people who should have moved out of Sky and gone to HK or null originally, not formed a new corp, which effectively destroyed Skyfighters and ultimately Rolled Out. Oh well, so goes Eve...

LSKYL is still here. Despite the loss of some valued members, a bunch more that did nothing but wait on pings, much of the corp wallet and the corp owned capitals, rumors of our death are greatly exaggerated. We still live in wspace, scout chains, take whatever fights we can find and roam null. The reset allowed us to get back to our roots and we are having more fun than ever. We can't fight the large gangs on their terms like we used to; but that is more their loss than ours. Since there are many more small gangs than large ones in our neighborhood we increased our range of possible fights.

Sorry Kynric, I didn't mean to imply or perpetuate rumors that Skyfighters was dead. I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

Sky Fighters lost members due to directors having polar opposite views on how to get things done (let's leave it at that). Rolled Out was destroyed by people not willing to step up to the plate. Let's not make any accusations.

I would also like to point out that there was no theft from the Sky Fighters exodus.

Ama, our kill numbers were good right up until the day we finally said let's close shop. Plenty of us stepped up to the plate. The bottom line was some wanted to go null, some wanted big wh fleets only HK could offer, some had RL issues kick in, others wanted smaller gang fights, and many wanted to keep it going the way it was. In the end most of us knew this and decided to break up the corp peacefully and like gentlemen. That's exactly what we did.

In my opinion, and the opinion of many I've talked to, many of us would have been better off putting two months into other corps or even staying in Skyfighters. You say that Sky was destroyed by people with polar opposite views. I say ROLO was destroyed by people with very different desires and playstyles. There was no intent to have this happen. It just did.
