More of a question at the devs, but feel free to opinionate...

So is there any possibility that in the future or at some one-time thing, we might be able to pay a fee or something to have background or at least bloodline changed?

maybe I'm a rare case, but is there no one else that's just not satisfied with their characters bloodline options for all the new portraits/body views and things?

Most other games, time played isn't quite as big of a deal as in Eve where it's a huge deal. So just remaking a character because your bloodline makes you unhappy is a huge blow. And for immersion, not liking your bloodline kinda ruins the game....

I mean to be fair, prior to the new portraits/models, it was a bit more difficult to actually see the finer points of what the backgrounds/bloodlines affected on your character and now with all the changes it would certainly be nice to allow older characters at least one chance to fix their ugly....

Prior to the entire skill revamp I went Brutor simply for the starting skills and the large perception bonus. Also Achura were ass ugly and everyone was one. Now I wish to change Race and bloodline because the closest I could get a brutor to Caucasian is Mexican. Pre Carbon I had a fairly decent Michael Jackson lookalike. It wouldn't even have to be a race and bloodline change, it could be as easy as plastic surgery and gene therapy. All perfectly doable in the far future of eve.

This is actually my problem as well. I initially chose them for the starting stats, not really able to tell with the horrid portraits of old, that my character was not a tan Caucasian - which I can clearly tell now. At least if not allowing characters to change bloodlines, allow a full spectrum of hair and skin tones, not limited ?

I agree that features should not be bloodline limited. I was pleased with the initial build of the carbon character creator, I could sculpt my brutor basically in any way I chose. I was disappointed when I found the actual release build was extremely limited. Basically I'd be happy with either no limits in character creator, a free race and bloodline change, which I'm surprised they didn't offer with the implementation of Carbon, or a purchasable plastic surgery and gene therapy option in game.

yes please

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Right see? if enough money in the real world can get something, I'd sure think in the far future it could too....
