Lucky we have you to correct people constructively, eh. Give it a rest.

@ OP some of the basic clothing options vary slightly between races too, i.e. hoods for male Amarrian characters.

no matter which race you choose, the ladies always seem to look younger and peppier than the guys. which isn't a problem if you dig that grizzled type, but creating a twinky amarr is impossible even if you spend hours in character creation :,,,(

For females, the easiest to make look attractive are ... of course ... Caldari.
Achura are considered to be the most attractive, by the vast majority.
Caldari are the easy-mode race, no matter what. Really.

1. Achura
2. Jin-Mei
3. Deteis ... but good luck with Deteis. lol

Then come Sebiestors.

A proper portrait adds a lot of depth, value, and possibilities to the game. I see that the OP is doing it partly right.

But we'll see.

And then there are Vherokior and True Amarr. The character creator on hard mode.

Haha, yeah, yeah, sure...

Some spend lots of money in diet, surgery, implants, photograph, cloths and are never satisfied with the results... so, they keep changing but no avail, the more the money the more the changes.

You like red, I like blue... so what?

The original "Project" guy was able to make the ugliest Char I saw in my entire EVE life but he was making sense, most of the times...

Fly safe.

Would you buy one, if I made you one?
You have to pay the fee plus one PLEX reward.

I am Deteis, and I personally find myself rather dashing. *flicks non-existent hair*

When creating female characters I always choose Caldari-Achura or Minmatar-Sebiestor, as I find those races/bloodlines most attractive. However, beauty, as we all know, is in the eye of the beholder.

I am aware of three differences.

1. You pick up a little bit of racial SP - but like a few hours worth I think. Nothing to worry too much about.

2. Your "free" ships as rewards for career missions will be from that race. if you start Caldari you get a Badger as an Indy, Gallente you get a Nereus etc etc

3. The different starting schools are vastly different in terms of the in school chat and the help you get. Some are very good with helpful advice and even do in school roams and fleet ops, others are dead (no-one posts) and some (particularly some Caldari) are full of people with bad advice trying to duel you in a destroyer before you can even fly a frigate properly :D

It's worth noting that you can actually do all twelve schools if you do not die of boredom from repeating the same career missions over and over. The downside is boredom. The advantage is lots of free ships and a good start on balanced standings for all four major factions if you intend to mission rather than FW or PvP.

my friend who decided to go caldari for his starting character had a vastly different experience in the school chat than i did; gallente players were falling over themselves to cheer me on and be helpful, while he got at least four pvp requests before he even finished the career missions and some guy tried to sell him a ship for a vastly inflated price.

this is probably because the average gallente player is sweet but kind of dull, whereas caldari players tend to fully exploit the fact that eve lets you do whatever, and some of them also have strong opinions on ayn rand
