The materials required on some of the tech 2 construction component bpos seem to have changed slightly here and there. Material usage will also equalize over many runs.

Lets look at the Electrolytic Capacitor Unit Blueprint for a moment:
In crius the bpo has a material usage of:

Fernite Carbide: 27
Fullerides: 11
Nanotransistors: 1
Plasmonic Metamaterials: 2

This is before the ME of a blueprint is taken into account. When using a previously perfect BPO that had no waste, your Crius version will be ME 8, (and in my case, PE 8 as well).

So, for 1 build, your material usage will be

Fernite Carbide: 25
Fullerides: 11
Nanotransistors: 1
Plasmonic Metamaterials: 2

Which should be clear at a glance, is not perfect anymore, since ME 10 would provide a material usage of:

Fernite Carbide: 24.3 -> 25
Fullerides: 9.9 -> 10
Nanotransistors: 0.9 -> 1
Plasmonic Metamaterials: 1.8 -> 2

For a savings of 1 Fulleride additional.

Now, that should answer your question that no, they will not stay perfectly researched, but they WILL translate to 1-8% ME. If you want them researched to 10, Research them now.

Now, in crius, there is also the interesting way that materials are going to be rounded by batch, not per run, so with your current ME 8 electrolytic capacitor unit bpo, were you to run off 100 runs, you would use (in a highsec station, this would be even lower in a pos or ugraded amarrian outpost)

Fernite Carbide: 2484
Fullerides: 1013
Nanotransistors: 100
Plasmonic Metamaterials: 184

So, much closer to the true wastage values.
