Does it not occur to you? Normal people, who actually care about the experience, who never come to the forum at all, will have this 40 times unimatrix isboxer alts appear and wipe out their belt. Do you think this is a good experience of the game for them?

How to find other belts. Also, it's not your belt. Nothing is yours unless you can get it first, and keep it from getting blown up. They don't write our names on the sides of asteroids you know.

Well, you know, that's not entirely true. Everything labeled Veldspar is earmarked for one specific dude.

Yep. The dude that manages to mine it first.

Ah, was that you screaming in Osmon local at me earlier this morning? How you wanted to do sexual things to me and my pets too. My poor cat was looking at me like he was saying "I don't want the mean person to sodomize me."

If that was you, then you need to grow up.

*and it 50, not 40. Math is hard.

40 skiffs mining in an ice field in hi-sec, the belt lasts no more than 30 minutes if he is there. During this time I estimate he must get 40 ice per skiff, 40 skiffs. That's 1600 blocks of ice, at 320k per block that is 500 million isk that he earns from 30 minutes of play, in hi-sec.

Not only does he earn isk far faster than would be possible for him if he wasn't using a 3rd party program to send keystrokes to the clients, but he ruins the game for normal players. I would rather mine with a few bots in the belt than this guy, they are far less detrimental to my experience.

As an Explorer, people with guns are detrimental to my experience, therefor CCP should institute Gun Control measures in EVE Online. Namely a 5 day waiting period and background check on mounting any guns on ships , said background check being a questionnaire asking these questions:

"Do you plan on ganking with these weapons? if yes wait 5 days and also send a "notice of hostility" to your gank target so they know to expect you."

"Do you plan on shooting at Goons with these weapons? if yes have gun right freaking now plus free ammo".

(This is what happens when you let high sec bureaucrats give psych tests btw).

Big smile

That's your problem, most people with guns are playing the game they way it was designed to play, without 3rd party software.

In this case, a 3rd party program is being used to play the game in an extreme manner.

OP, this is how you take screenshots of this sort of thing. I was hoping for a wonderful wallpaper with a hundred mining lasers and glowing ice, but no..

People need to accept the fact that every aspect of this game involves one form or another of PvP. I accepted this rule a long time ago, and the game has been nothing but enjoyable since that moment. Too many folks believe they own the space and everything directly around them including their own ship, and that's simply not the case. When i run my mining fleet for resources, as soon as that rock or block of ice lands in my hanger, that is the point where CCP says, "it's now yours to do with as you please." Everything that happens to that rock or ice block before that point is totally up in the air and subject to loss to another player. (including the transport of it.)

If people can just let this sink in, they would have a lot more fun in this game.

Now get a group of like minded people, bump all the barges off grid and gank them one by one. You keep doing that until all of the accounts go silent. Then you congratulate yourselves and look for another ISBoxing miner.

Don't forget to make a thread/blog about it.

Shouldn't CODE be active in this?

Wait. Did they say it is explicitly allowed or only that it isn't forbidden or even just not persecuted?
These distinctions are important.

They said

"the multiboxing application is not something we plan to actively police at this time"

"However, if any third party application or other software is used to gain any unfair advantage, or for purposes beyond its intended use, or if the application or other software violates other parts of the EULA, we may fully enforce our rights to prohibit such use, including player bans. Please use such third party applications or other software at your own risk."

They never said it was okay, use at your own risk.

All a rather circumventory way of admitting they don't see a profit in banning someone paying $600-$800 a month.

It's not jealousy. It's frustrating to be outplayed by someone who is basicly cheating.

No one has demonstrated any cheating going on yet. If you think you have found someone cheating, file a support ticket. Getting up in arms about it on the forums achieves nothing except another locked redundant thread.

I have 3 27 inch monitors. It allows me to play with my miners, and pvp/rat at the same time, while still keeping a good sense of awareness. It would be much more difficult, actually pretty impossible to do this with just one screen. Should CCP ban multiple screens?

Because based on what you are saying, they should. I paid money in hardware to be able to use multiple characters effectively, therefore I have an unfair advantage. It doesn't make sense.

Now, that being said, I ******* hate IS Boxer and those who use it. They keep ice and mineral prices low, which isn't good for someone in my line of work. It's a way of managing multiple characters without investing in the hardware. Therefore, I blow them up, consistently and without prejudice. You should try it.

Also, since you seem to have given the portrayal that you have popular support, since everyone hates it when these 40 skiffs show up, you won't have to be alone. The IS Boxer will think twice when launching that fleet when he's losing 5 skiffs at a time. Those aren't cheap.
