Is there one?
Or due to their changing nature, it's impossible to create one?

What you probably looking for is some wh charting software, because a static map would clearly be impossible, as you noted yourself.

Use search you lazy mofo. Here's somewhere to start: http://siggy.borkedlabs.com/pages/welcome

There is also https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=320030 but it is walled gardened and you must use his server so be cautious using it.

There was an open source one too that you could host yourself, forgot the location though.

There aren't any maps like dotlan due to the fact systems really aren't connected. There's a list somewhere with systems/constellations/regions but that's it.

A 'map' of w-space would change ever few hours due to wormholes connecting and disconnecting all the time. You could use a mapping service like wormhol.es or siggy (or vippy if you have some cool Dutch people in your alliance) to temporarily map out wormholes, but don't expect them to be there for more than a couple of hours.

TL;DR - No, it is not possible to map the entirety if w-space.

Reducing your holes to a quivering mess since 2009.

As a noob here, (less than a year in game) My cohorts and myself use siggy. We can see where eachother are at, and as long as it's minimized in your sidebar it basically does all the work, you just go jumping through holes to make a map. Of course its a good idea to make your bookmarks still and note times on holes and whether or not they're stable.

There are maps of the relative positions of j space systems*, obviously mapping connections would be another thing entirely especially as they constantly change.

*Also there is project compass https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Project_Compass and https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Project_Atlas not sure what data the EDK maps are based on but they seem to be accurate also for the relative positions of all j systems to each other.

You're thinking of this one I'd wager.

EVE W-Space
I've used it for quite some time in various corps. I, personally, like it better than siggy as an information gathering tool. Its UI is not as clean as siggy's and it, currently, doesn't track mass like siggy does but other than that I prefer this over siggy (tip - it's a lot more stable than siggy is if you host it yourself on a reliable provider since it won't have near the strain that siggy gets placed under with hundreds of concurrent users).

I'm right behind you
