try different "juices" until you find one that feels satisfying to you , not strictly nice but gives that sensation.
Its not smoking, don't pretend it is, however it is the only thing iv tried in the last decade that combats the habit .

you can regulate the strength of your doses, the duration of them and their interval much better with one than you can with cigarets so id be hard pressed to advise you a plan but im certain you can work something out ,

There's a juicy market niche for those devices, which nobody has exploited yet: use them as flavor dispensers.

It's wet, warm and tastes good, but it haves no calories and no effects on your body: flavored vapor is the ultimate sweetmeat.

That's interesting, as these are now considered a gateway for kids before leading into the real thing.

Lots of laws are coming down on these soon in the US.

The only thing that even began to work for me was Chantix. But unfortunately, a lot of people react badly to it as I did. After a few months on it, I started "behaving strangely", and I could even tell I was. That was it for me.

I've been smoking for 32 years, and I guess the only way to stop...is to stop.

But don't forget, If you do manage to quit on any method, it's still going to be an uphill battle the ret of your life to stay off smoking. The brain never forgets what it likes, be it nicotine or alcohol.

IT'S A TRAP !

My experience with the E-cigarettes/Vaporizers in general has been this...

- it doesn't really kill the cravings. It just takes the edge off. You have to WANT to cut cigarettes/cigars/hookahs from your life in the first place.
edit: though, the E-cig/Vape is FAR more satisfying than chewing gum or using a patch.

- Related to the above point... if you are like me and enjoy a good smoke when drinking, you are REALLY going to feel that craving. Best way to stick to the vaporizer is to also limit your drinking habits.

- If you have a tendency to "fall of the wagon" then try to keep your vaping experience interesting. Try different flavors that appeal to you... there is quite a selection to choose from.

- losing power while you are out and about is a *****... especially when you are prone to "falling off the wagon." Be mindful of your battery levels before you go out. Bring your charger if you think you will be out for awhile.

- try NOT to keep them in your pant pockets. You risk bending them to the point where the seals might break... which can result in liquids leaking out (making your pants smell funky) or sweat/water getting into the electrical components (shorting things out).

- I started at 24 mg of nicotine in my E-fluids as I was used to smoke hookahs and/or chain smoking. It took about a month or two to get used to that level (my brain wanted more!!). A few months later I lowered it down to ~12 mg... then 6 mg a few months after that. Now my battery has reached the end of its life and I have stopped.



With regards to E-cigarettes/Vaporizers themselves...

- Do not get some cheapo garbage thing for less than 15 bucks. This is one of those things where you get where you pay for.

- I highly recommend getting one with a refillable head like this one: Lucid Vapes Starter Kit
Note: I have been using this one for about a year. I only had to replace the head component once (I broke it) and the replacement head I got was quite nice. (it could be easily taken apart and the igniter/atomizer replaced for less than $10 USD)

- The igniter/atomizer is the only hardware you will have to replace regularly. Some heads will allow you to replace JUST that small bit while other heads have it built-in and need to be replaced entirely.
Igniters/atomizers usually last for about a month... maybe a bit longer if you only occasionally smoke. You will easily be able to tell when it is time to replace it as you will be consistently sucking up globs of fluid rather than vapor.

- The E-fluid itself is mostly to taste. Cheaper stuff will work fine but I found that they tend to be rather "light" and "watery"... resulting in a hotter vapor (which can be quite unsatisfying). More expensive fluid will taste richer and sweeter. Starbuzz was a favorite brand of mine.

I've had gum, Inhaler thing, Patches and mouth spray before to no avail, I suck in regards to willpower but to be fair the e-cig is doing the job so far, no craving really which is a first!

This sounds like a good idea, I started doing this prior to my Ecig arriving and has helped a lot, Might be worth limiting the amount of puffs an hour since being that I can sit in work with it I find myself using it a lot currently

The problem is that cigarettes have a wide variety of drugs and other toxins that you gain a physiological dependence to. Those patches and vaporisers only provide the nicotine.

My advice: smoke actual cigarettes but just don't smoke as much as desired. Always leave yourself short. Get a lighter variety if you don't like wasting part of the cigarette. There are ultra-light varieties with an extra-long filter that can be torn off halfway. Salem ultra-lights are good for that. Might be a good choice for final cigarette. By the time you are ready to step below those, you might be able to get off with just patches, gum, or e-cigs. Alternatively, if you can step off the other toxins from smoking, you could just let yourself remain addicted to nicotine and keep getting it from those other much less toxic sources. It's not really the nicotine that hurts you so much in the long run, you know.

You'd be surprised how high people can get on smoking cookie dough alone, if you made them believe it's pot.
Never underestimate the placebo effect.
