omnidirecional tracking link question about stacking penalties.

Couldn't seem to find an answer for this anywhere.

If you use tracking scripts in omnidirectional tracking links, will these modules give you stacking penalties to drone optimal range as well?

So say if I wanted to use two omnidirectionals with a tracking script and one with an optimal range script. Will I receive stacking penalties on the omnidirectional with an optimal range script since technically I am using other modules that effect optimal range but its effect is being reduced by -100% due to the tracking script?

I think they only have stacking penalties with other modules that give the same benefits. So if you have 1 that's giving optimal range and the other tracking speed they shouldn't stack. I know the optimal range scripts stack with rigs so I put tracking speed scripts in mine.

You won´t.

Or more precisely: Even if it won´t matter.

As you have two items in your Scenario with 100% bonus and 0% bonus.

When applying stacking Penalty you sort the boni from highest to lowest and apply stacking accordingly.

In this case we get the 100% bonus without penalty. And the 0% Bonus penalized as the second module. So even if scripted omnis still count towards stacking on their 0% attributes, those will be lower than any modules actually giving a bonus and be behind those in stacking. Effectively making them not matter.

The two omnidirectionals with tracking scripts would in terms of tracking, but since neither of them are providing a range buff, the one with a range script would not receive a penalty at least from the first two. They all would still be subject to penalties from other additional factors (other same-script/no-script omnis, rigs, etc.).

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

This.

Even if they do stack, a module adding zero will be last in the stacking queue and hence be irrelevant in terms of effect on the "good" modules.
