Pretty sure I'm not welcome....tempting to show up regardless....haven't been shot in a long time, say, how many guards do you have anyways?

There are about two dozen assorted lodges and bands which collectively comprise the mess known to us as "The Late-Rise Clan", and when we manage to get the whole family together at once, there are over two thousand of us.

Virtually all adults (This is, anyone old enough for the Voluval) will be armed to some degree.

Professional security, provided by Gradient, will also, of course, be on site, ready to neutralize any sort of foolishness quickly and with extreme prejudice.

See you there!

Many thanks to everyone who attended. This was an incredibly fun Midsummer, and it was made so due to the guests.

I hope to see you all next year!

Remember, lots of water!!

I like to thank Kyllsa and Ava for the wonderful evening I had. Kyllsa for opening this celebration to the public and Ava for bringing life and joy into the party, dragging total strangers into the fun.

Also a special thanks to Vinh Tranh for being an excellent guide during the festival!

I did publish a report on it: The Minmatar Midsummer Festival

I hope I didn't make any glaring errors, in case I did, please contact me trhough evemail and I shall correct it!

The capsuleer Jaqel did manage to deeply impress me as Vinh duelled him in order to overcome his shyness towards me. It felt so weird and yet so exhilarating to have two man duel for my hand. It's not something I ever experienced before, not ever expected to happen, considering i'm used to the more reserved Caldari ways.

This whole festival did give me an insight in Minmatar customs and I got to know new people and know others better. Espeically Ava suprised me positively, as I only knew her as a hot-headed capsuleer before, not as this fun-driven person she was at the festival!

Thank you for the kind words, as well as for the wonderful write up! I am pleased that everyone had a good time!

I do hope to see you, and everyone else, back again next summer.

Between now and then... remember to just take the time to enjoy life once in a while. That's Midsummer. You can have it anytime!

Thank you again for hosting such a fantastic event, Kyllsa. I'm pleased to see that Ms. Ymladris was able to write such a pleasant piece the day after!

Tradition defines and shapes a person, but should be evaluated frequently; far too often does Tradition no longer help, but hobble a person and stunt their growth. Especially a Capsuleer.

Congratulations on hosting an event that wasn't marred by drama and violence.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
