Drone implants.

We have turret and missile implants to improve damage , range etc . Are there any drone equivalents ? Not rigs but implants

You can buff CPU which is pretty useful to almost all heavy drone boats. That's about it.

While I admit that drones have virtually non-existent options where implants are concerned, I'm not so sure I agree with the "dire need of a buff" part (they have received quite a few already), but some fixes and tweaks to the A.I. and drone window would be nice. Though they still have some unique vulnerabilities compared to traditional on-board weapons, it's not like they are so much a weak-handed weapon system and, given a good ship and right fit, can be just as fiendishly lethal as any gun/missile boat.

That said, I wouldn't be necessarily opposed to drone-based implants either. Implants that would make some of the nearly unused drones could prove to be useful for instance. Just that I don't think it's in desperate need, though it would be interesting non the less.

actually adding an implant and nerfing the drones for the equivalent value would be a good balance, you have to chose between the drone implant and other boni
