Criminal is crafty. We were unprepared and it seems that he/she was hired out of haste, despite members of my corporation having an undisturbed past relationship with them.

The criminal activity took place before I had the chance to inquire upon this person's hiring into the corp, their past, and was unable to retrieve the API data from the Recruiter involved. We are changing our Recruitment process, but the damage is already done. Thankfully, the loss was petty enough for the corporation to compensate, but that is testament to their determination to carry out petty activity over a long period of time (Three Weeks+).

Learn from our mistakes and tread lightly when dealing with this despicable, unscrupulous individual.

It sounds to me like you owe him a hefty sum of ISK for teaching you such a valuable lesson. I would say, maybe, 2 Billion?

If anything, you should be thanking Gamma and Delta for their services in showing you where your weakness is and how it could be exploited.

That's true, but no need for thanks. They already exploited the weakness, they didn't show s**t.
Learn to be vengeful, not thankful.
