There's no use complaining, the plans have been on file for the last 20 years in your local cluster Planning Department. All that;s new that happened is the hamsters complained to the mice.

I got the first "You cannot leave system yet because of instability in the space-time continuum. Please try again in a moment." message at 13:55 EVE time.

From there things got worse over a timespan of several hours. First more "space-time continuum" messages, then noticeable lag on some gate jumps, then lag when moving items and finally market and wallet stopped working.
About 20 minutes before you took down the server people in chat channels were already asking each other how long we would have 'til the impeding emergency reboot.

If these issues appeared sudden to you, you really need better monitoring of server health.

There is no excuse for not giving us at least 15min notice before taking down the servers - at that point normal gameplay was already barely possible.



This! Aligning to warp & dock, timer goes from 3+mins to 42 sec to disconnect. What?

If you can teach the hamsters to say "Row" surely you can teach them to self administer CPR...
