this is only fully linked and on drugs.

interceptors are simular while under links and drugs.

garmur is slightly better of course, but price tag is also not 20mil isk.

Your Rifter will not tank select-able damage type perfectly applied 140 dps. Ever. I doubt your Ishkur can perma rep that either.

You also, apparently, fail to realize that it is literally impossible to escape this ship.


And no, interceptors do not perform like a Garmur. A crow is not even close; I've flown both.

Say hello to sentry drones with tracking links, how do you think we used to deal with nano's before, and they move a lot faster back then.

On a less sarcastic note, perhaps you should try checking your assertions about other people before you make them. The Rifter was a joke, but my Ishkur WILL tank your 140dps at any damage type and with links of my own, kill your Garmur with its drones.

Just checked my Jag, Wolf and Enyo fits as well, and they can all handle 140dps as well. The Enyo can actually handle that and a lot more with the graceful ease of dual reps.

The Garmur? You just described how broken off-grid links are.

A standard dual-rep incursus has more active tank than a Hawk with armored warfare links.

The only thing broken here is off-grid boosting.

You got the right idea though. If youre going to question CCP then question why they haven't fixed off-grid links.

But about the Garmur, just compare it to other pirate faction frigs like the Worm (10k ehp 250 dps drones) or the Daredevil (two light neutron blasters = 475 dps). Consider the different roles and potential of similar ships in this class. I believe it is not OP.

But as long as system wide links are present any ship is this game is broken.

+1 to this. In it's current state EVE is very balanced compared to 2010 when I started playing. Once you throw in a booster alt (because no real person flies as a dedicated booster, ALWAYS an alt) then the balance goes out the window.

i have a garmur.

im not an expert on frig warfare, but its dps is a bit low. i could not even break an active-tank malediction of my corpie with a full dps garmur fit. Malediction just moves too fast, most of the dps is wasted on the speed debuff.

He could not catch me either, but it was a mexican stand-off.

an active-tank assault frig should easily tank a garmur. a rifter probably not, but an assault frig - easily. hawk or harpie (one with shield booster bonus) - for sure.

its a nice frigate, but its a bit weak by itself i find. Great tackle, but not nullified. tradeoffs, tradeoffs.

looks nice tho, visually. thats the biggest reason to fly it imho :)
