Tour of CCP office in Reykjavik?

Hey all,

I've been playing EVE on and off for about a year now, and have really enjoyed it.

I'm going to be in Iceland from 20-24 July 2014. I was hoping to get a quick tour of CCP, as I don't think I'll be back to Iceland for a long time. Do you guys know if the devs run formal/informal tours? Or who I should contact about maybe organising something?

Any help would be great :)

The office? No.

CCP Falcons lair in the basement however is open for visitors. I wouldn't advise it though, none survive.

I'm sure they are more than happy to provide daily tours through their offices with lots of entertainment and every dev showing you personaly the stuff he is working on right now and discussing eve with you. I mean they have nothing else to do right? Blink

Just be aware they will probably troll you with all kinds of false information. If you come back making topics about silly stuff like bug fixes and POS Overhaul, we will know they did.

Most companies have a public affairs office through which facility tours can be...that's right - facilitated. Of course, you'd need to contact them through the business office during their business hours. Usually if one person calls me with such a request, I take the opportunity to act all arrogant and stuff, and haughtily deny such a presumptuous favor. However, you might find the staff at CCP are actually nice people - unlike ME! Nyah!

Truthfully, they may be able to include you in an already scheduled tour, or even pull what handful of people together that have made such a request already and put a tour together. Lots of stuff can happen depending on how much thought a company may have already put into such things. Some companies, on the other hand, would think, "Huh? Tour US?
Why would anybody want to tour US?" Go figure.
