you guys know what is weird? Mom and Dad can sign you up to go kill people for mega corporation's interests erm I mean the government with 17 years of age, or you can sign up yourself with 18 years of age , but you can only enjoy a refreshing beer legally once you are 21 years old. Now , that is weird.

If one takes into consideration that the world does not only consist of the United States but 194 more countries, then one could perhaps note that in other countries, the legal age to drink is 16 years of age, or 18 is usually the most common (unless in predominant Islamic countries where it is prohibited altogether) and perhaps that I also do not live in that one country where the legal age to drink is 21.

You people are weird.

"You people"...

Wow that sounds like something I've heard before

Like most americans I used to think we were "better" till I went overseas. No one is "better". I wish people would stop being so judgemental of others because their culture is different. Sad

Congratulations. You took part of the continuing "Iceland is Weird" meme that has been floating around in EVE for the past 10 years and turned it into some sort of diatribe. Friends (in the sense that I love the good Icelandic people of CCP) tease each other; it doesn't mean anything more than that. þú ert hálfviti.

True but racism is often hidden in jokes and of course it's all perspective. If one back person yells to another a certain word it can be a greeting but if I were to yell out the same word I probably would get shot.

I just dislike people thinking they're better than others because they feel their culture is superior. It's not just Americans that do this of course. I'm not saying that's the OP's intent but it does come off that way.
