If he can organize their derpy masses and stop them fail fitting - you frogs might have a fight on your hands.

Nah they just copied our doctrines

The person i am referring too has never copied a doctrine from you guys.

Anyway even if he did - I doubt Templis would even have enough Falcon pilots to fly your corp doctrines.

Fixed. The only FC that could save Caldari is Super Chair, and he'll use Basilisks instead.

WRT to Enaluri, and taking nothing away from those that live there, it is the newest home system of the Gallente. In terms of where supporting corps/allainces are and logistics, it would be closer to the easiest target to strike than the hardest.

Perhaps the easiest of the hardest targets (i.e. Gallente home systems) but certainly not amongst the easiest targets on the map. It's also right next door to Nenn.

From the fights I saw, things were pretty rough on the squids. I saw their Kestrel fleets die to our AF fleets, and our Kestrel fleets kill their AF fleets. ... In fact I'm not sure I witnessed any gallente fleets lose a fight, I did see a couple of derps from T3s trying to be funny, but we wouldn't be throwing those into the isk analysis would we? Seeing as this was about testing doctrines :p

I guess I'm mainly thinking of fights like these:

http://evf-eve.com/services/brcat/?s=45339&b=6033140&e=20&t=qaubuvb

http://evf-eve.com/services/brcat/?s=45339&b=6032310&e=20&t=aquuvvb

http://evf-eve.com/services/brcat/?s=45339&b=6032265&e=15&t=afqqvvb

(edit: the forums are mangling these addresses by inserting amp;amp; into them three times for some reason - you'll need to manually delete that addition to get the BR.
edit2: bear in mind that the BRs only include those pilots who appeared on killmails, not all who were involved in the battles, so most of the Gallente fleet is missing from the first two as there were almost no Caldari losses.)

What's really significant here to my mind is seeing doctrinal uniformity across a Caldari general militia fleet, decent amounts of logi on field, and wins against fully logi-ed up Gal fleets (with T2 logi in two cases). These are all new experiences for me in system battles.

I also wouldn't discount all the T3 losses. In a battle where you bring a T2/T3 cruiser fleet plus battleships and faction battleships against a T1 cruiser fleet and lose a T3 in the pitched engagement, that's just a straightforward loss.

wrt the T3s, I'm not writing them off, good kills, especially if one was lost in battle, I only joined to hear the ones struggling to activate the medium plex accel gate Cool I'll just leave it as don't count on T3 fleets in home systems to balance the killboards :p

Those BRs are kind of what I mean though, an AF fleet fighting a larger RLM Caracal gang, and whats seems like comedy ENI fleet and comedy battle exequror fleet. Not exactly our frontline plex fighting doctrines :) Anytime I saw a semi serious mainstream gallente plexing fleet the results appeared fairly onesided, but again, anecdotal.

That small shield extender on the Kestrel has to go though.

Confirming that no one in Galmil watches the World Cup or takes vacations. We're that serious about internet spaceships.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Whether or not you guys do has no impact on whether it is reasonable to cite these factors as one of the reasons some CalMil corps have been slightly quieter the last few days.

1. They are in perpetual Tier 1 right now, and even their home systems are getting hit by plexers. So, they are balling up a bit.
2. Plexes are harder. Their guys are probably turning more to missions to make their isk instead of being available for fights in plexes.
3. In our area Sniggwaffe has returned and put a big damper on Squid activity in Kinnaka. Many squids seem to pile up in Kehjari instead, or go to high sec.
4. The inability to adequately contest Enaluri last weekend (it was a "marginal draw", started at 10%, ended a bit below 10% contested level) has probably lead to a bit of "I'm going to go do something more interesting than beat my head against the wall" thinking.

Caldari leadership is, well, ******** at the moment. You should see how many dudes we can fit into one plex!

Except that in 9 months fighting for the Federation, I never witnessed GalMil refusing to fight. Not even against the TEST locusts. Worst case: grab derptrons, harass, die gloriously (and ISK-efficiently).

If I correctly interpreted your post as GalMil blobing CalMil.

EDIT: also, thanks for your Avenging Angels thread. I've never been in your warzone, but it was a great read!

In my humble opinion, many gallente will not fight generally equal fights. They typically require a couple additional pilots or a few more 0s on the price tags of their ships.

I have seen numerous gal fleets not take even fights.

That said, there are still many brave gallente who will offer good fights.

If by 'equal' you mean having to warp into a plex where the opposition is already setup to pounce on the 'easy button' warp in that plex fighting provides....then yea....no thanks.

Trust me...I've been doing FW for 5 years. Each side is the same - they run - they blob - they need EWAR - they need logi - blah blah blah... It all comes down to your little slice of FW perception and what you believe to know what your opponent is thinking/wanting/doing without actually knowing anything and therefore assuming that your way is some how the better way...

As have I.

Right. I am referring to many of the individuals in this thread.

Though, I must admit, our.....leadership....doesn't know how to recognize or take a good fight.

I take fights all day.

In no particular order

1. RL Summertime for most of our members so attendance is down (World Cup, Vacations etc etc.)
2. Those that are here are finding it increasingly difficult to earn isk in FW due to the last changes, as the Galls hold most (if not all) of the FW mission hubs and to quote Crosi "The pendulum was removed last patch" which especially with reduced numbers (see 1.) means we have little realistic chances of getting any of them back anytime soon means many of those that are still here are now off on alts in Null or Incursion fleets.
3. When we do manage to get Frig/Dessie/Cruiser fleets or gangs together , lately you have been countering with T2 Hac's and Logi's. We currently cannot compete with these, not that we don't want to but 80% of Calmil don't have the SP to even get in them. Its something were addressing but it is going to take a considerable time to rectify.

TL;DR If you 'WTB more pew pew' as you put it bring out stuff thats comparable to what we can field at present and we will fight you all day long.

Galmil has been in tier 1 collectively significantly longer than any other faction and as you can see we have no problem fielding the vast number of doctrine ships and more recently our AHAC and T2 fleets. ISK shouldn't be a problem even at tier 1. Welcome to the real world Blink

With respect to our AHAC fleets. It took us a long time to get them out in numbers. We're fielding them to fight the local pirate groups and attracting more groups to the area. That's happening because there are no more squids to be found, at least not in the AU timezone. P.S. I hear eagles are pretty good and I would assume most of your pilots have Caldari cruiser 5.
